Cabernet here and d/o eggplant parm. Linda, I am so happy we don't have that kind of drama in my family. Good luck.

We had Linguica and string beans over brown rice.
Need to use up the meals I prepped before my surgery.

Had a great afternoon with Teri and ann at la cabana. Teri’s grandson, Kirk, made an appearance. What a great kid! Btw, was crowned homecoming king! He has a great head on his shoulders for an 18 year old. Teri, be very proud of that boy. Had my first buds since sept 14!

Yeah Linda!!!

Did you record him saying that? Joking but not...

Looking good ladies!

I'm in, nursing my knee.
I feel on the outside brick stairs coming in from the garage.
Very lucky I didn't hit my face or teeth.
I hate those stairs and have fallen a few times (not even a beer in me...)
I think the kneecap will just be really bruised, crossing my fingers!

I meant to post over the weekend but so tired from yard work I forgot.
Received a generous, beautiful present from our resident HGTV star and friend, have to share.
Thank you Patti!! You are the best.
When I really needed a bright moment, you gave it!

That's great news Linda.

Judi, Linda took the words right out of my mouth as I was looking at the pictures. Where's your hat? Your nose looks pretty good. Everybody looks happy. Thanks for posting.

Happy Thanksgiving Karen and all Canadian Swamp Monkeys. Hope you had a great day.

Tonight it was homemade beef and broccoli over brown rice. It's a rum and coke for dessert.

I was under an umbrella the whole time. But that’s no excuse. Yes I should have had a hat. Practice what I preach, right Linda?

Kat, I've had a few stairs mishaps and have learned to slow down and hold on. I used to bop down them until I fell a few times, thankfully without any major injury. I hope your knee is feeling better.

A wonderful way to spend the afternoon. :D Judi is right on....Teri's grandson is a gem! handsome, outgoing and polite! Met him on the walkway when I was leaving and we had another nice chat! OK...on topic  dinner for him was complete chicken dinner doneover. I had a big salad....which was canceled by the homemade blue cheese dressing  ....oh so good! With slices of chicken on the side. A glass (or two) of red. :D

Cheers with Michelob Ultra...I am at the American Legion burger night..I had a grilled ham and cheese. Yeah not good for me but I'm supporting.
One thing about the food posys...I learn something new every week. I googled luingiaca.

Linda, good to hear Kenny agreed to a dr appt. Especially with all that family drama.

Kat, sorry about your knee!

Ann i love blue cheese dressing!

We're on to a new set of leftovers...this evening it was some of Friday's tuna noodle casserole. Milk with dinner.

Now I am on to a sturdy glass of red before bedtime...trying to finish a book. Kindle says I'm at 95%...can't be much more.

Bon noche.

Cheers! Had a Hormel Compleats Turkey & Dressing for lunch, tonight a crunchy PB & Mayo on rye for supper, about to close it out with a bit of HaganDas coffee ice cream with Hershey's dark and peanuts. Don't want to have anything too "bad" before my morning prep for my prostate biopsy, so no jalapeno sliders or anything.
