The Netherlands has 17 million people the US has 330 million. New York alone has 12 million.

If my old memory serves me correctly the US has bigger population then all of Europe combined.

Even if the US was ahead of the virus with that many people can’t see it ever being a quick.

I finally had time to do the math for you. We can do 75.000 tests a day and have the results within 48 hours max. If the States would organize it in a similar way, that would be 1.455.886 tests a day. I guess in a country that is so much bigger, you also have more laboratoriums and people that work there. I don’t see why more people is the problem. I think it is not following the advices of people that know what they talk about, or even flatly refusing to acknowledge that there is a pandemic going on, is the problem. Mind you, we also are getting more people that say this is not a pandemic and that it is an innocent flu. Fortunately our government doesn’t listen to this minority.
