Hilton is building a new hotel on Eagle Beach by the low rises, does anyone know where it will be?

Thanks to a management agreement with Natura Development II N.V., Hilton is bringing an Embassy Suites to Aruba in 2021.
The new-build, 330-suite oceanfront Embassy Suites by Hilton Aruba Resort is the chain's second hotel on the island.

Coming from downtown - Just passed Blue Condo's (right side of road); before Divi Phoenix (left side).

Isn't that more Palm Beach than Eagle Beach?

Nuge guess you haven't been in Aruba in a few years. Over two years ago they broke ground and have been working on it in "Aruba Time".

Challenge is going to be like several places along that stretch the place is set back from the road and a long distance across a busy road to a beach that they will have to clear and build.

When we left the end of February they had seven floors of steel in place.

Divi Phoenix is considered the start of Palm Beach.

there really is not a lot of beach there either. Just like the Blue Residences-mostly a rocky shore between the two big beaches.

It's in between the two beaches but it's actually closer to the Phoenix near the Butterfly Farm.

Embassy Suites by Hilton.

Construction site is near the Bird Sanctuary, Butterfly farm, and Blue Residences. It is between Eagle Beach and Palm Beach.

They are people working around the clock on site pouring concrete. Basically the steel frame of 7 floors high is already done.

I tend to disagree. They cut a huge piece of the bird sanctuary. It pains my eyes.

I agree. Now almost the entire drive from Eagle to Palm will be built up. And where is there a beach?
Whatever happened to the "low rise" area?

However......the increased number of hotel rooms will probably put downwards pressure on prices. Maybe full at high season, but I cannot believe they will be at full occupancy the rest of the year.

A picture is worth a thousand words.

Sure you have looked at eddy's posted photo of the area. Its says it all.

Guess they expect the people in all those places to love pools. It is/will be a schlep to the beach across the main road and no Aruban beach front. I have walked that area and it's mangroves, no sitable beach and VERY rocky.

I agree, very rocky. I hope they can't improve the beach. It would be another area where they push the locals out. They tend to camp there during Easter week. The hotel guests will probably complain about them.
