Beautiful old house on Wilhelminastraat in Oranjestad. They have a nice courtyard in the back and inside seating if you prefer airconditioning. We sat inside as it was hot with little wind. Together with two friends we had lunch, but they are open until 10 pm. You can have breakfast here and on Saturday they have a la carte brunch with mimosa’s. You can also get a high tea or high wine. This place is mostly frequented by Dutch locals.

Two had an appetizer, the special soup of the day, which was a very tasty, well filled chickensoup with ginger. Three had keshi yena for entree (nice, thick layer of cheese and real good chicken - I could only eat half at it was very filling), it came with a small salad. One had the special, clipfish in white wine sauce with mashed potatoes and veggies. He said it was really good. With three beers, two pinot grigio, two tea’s and one cappuchino, total bill was 215 florin. No service charge.

I don’t know why we didn’t visit here before. It will be on our must go list from now on.
