Thursday's are Paella night at Ike's. We did it last year & it's a fun evening. We started off with 2 glasses of Sangria. Next was a salad bar where you help yourself to a large selection of items, which included beef stew, Cream of Broccoli soup, grilled vegetables, creamed spinach pasta, all the salad stuff like baby spinach, tomatoes, cucumbers, Antipasto salad, etc. This year they had 2 Paella's - the Seafood Paella & the Chicken and Chorizo Paella. You serve yourself for all the courses. After dinner you can help yourself to small desserts like assorted tiny cakes, tall shot glasses with various mousse and custards. They'll also make fresh fruit flambé. I tend to eat too much at these "all you can eat" affairs - had too much of the appetizer stuff like the creamed spinach pasta. I didn't get to try the Chicken & Chorizo Paella. I had one of the mousse desserts & a couple of the tiny cakes. They had a entertainer performing on the guitar - very enjoyable dinner music. It's $45 per person for the Sangria & food.

Food for thought: People object more violently to furs than leather because it is safer to attack rich women than motorcycle gangs.
