At the request of DH we went back to Pika’s Corner. We both had the excellent mojito. Too bad that when we wanted a second one, they told us the mint was not good, so they couldn’t prepair more. Instead we had a margarita. Not bad, but not my kind of drink. The mojito and the margarita is 12,50 florin, which I think is a good price.

They were out of fishcakes, so we shared a pan bati hasa cu keesi. This is fried pan bati with cheese. It was enough for the two of us. As entrees we both had the fish special of the day. I had the wahoo and DH the barracuda filet. The fish is battered and fried. It comes with rice, pasta salad, creole sauce, cibollo and either funchi or pan bati. It were large pieces of fish filet. We agreed that my wahoo was better than the barracuda. For desesert we shared quesillo (a flan). It was a large piece of excellent quality. Total bill was 116 florin.

The speciality of this restaurant are skewers. Think the large skewers (more swords) with meat that they have at Texas de Brazil. We see them ordered a lot. I guess we will try them another time.

The service is very good and charming. The restaurant is runned by Aruban ladies. They are very helpfull and nice.
