If you want a romantic beach dinner, this is not the place. It is in fact along a very busy road, the one from Noord to Oranjestad, not too far from St. Anna church. But if you still miss the Holywood Smokehouse, this is the place to go. The place is frequented by locals, either Arubans or Dutch who live on the island. The owner is a very nice man, who makes his round to talk to everybody. It has only outside seating on stools.

As starter we asked for chorizo (not on the menu as a starter). We got two chorizo saucages that were really tasty. As entrees we both had the smoked baby back ribs. They come with coleslaw and you can choose from 3 different kind of potato dishes. We both had french fries. The ribs are not sweet (we really don’t like that) and are smoked 3 to 4 hours. The owner gave us his special own made chimichurri sauce that was great. Ribs fell from the bone.

Together with two mojito’s, total cost was 89 florin. We will probably go back one more time this trip as DH wants to sample their lamb chops.
