Left the Phoenix at 7:50 AM with the divine Mrs. AJ and headed for Marriottville. All I can say is sadly quiet adventure.
Here's some breaking news (I think) the RIU adults only formally the Wyndham and 10 other names is closed. Looks like it has been that way for a long time. Pools are drained.
Next is the AI RIU. Beach maybe 5 people. No one at the pool areas.
Next the Hilton. Beach maybe 3 people. No one at the pools
Next the Barcelo. No one at the beach
Next the Hyatt. One person at the beach
Next the Playa Linda. Dozen people maybe
Next the Holiday Inn. One person. No on at the pool
Mooba Beach. One four member family eating breakfast
Marriottville. With there being timeshare and hotel there were a dozen or so people. Dozen or so at the pools
Along the walkway down and back maybe saw/pased/passed us 20 people.
Get the idea. It's too quiet.
