Hmm, okay, the memory is fading.....
Ate breakfast in (well, on the patio) with a banana each and shared 3 scrambled eggs. A few cups of coffee for Mike. I'm bummed that I forgot to pack a few tea bags.
We took a walk toward town, but didn't make it too far. We meandered through the old torn down hotel property, and then crossed the street and walked into Lings for another jar of salsa to finish up our bag of chips. Back to the hotel for some pool time, work time, nap time, etc. - in no particular order - and not necessarily all 3 for both of us.

I made the mistake of asking for the best pizza place on FB, and boy did I get the opinions. I think in all our times to Aruba, we've eaten a piece of pizza once - and that was like at midnight at Sbarro... after a big night of drinking. Well, everyone has their opinions, and so many of course have to tell us what we should eat instead of pizza. Whatever - Mike wanted pizza. Tues/Thur Mulligans has all their pizzas for $9.99. It's a 12 inch super thin crust. So, we decided to go over there. We didn't want to walk in sweaty, so we took the shuttle over, but walked back. Mike had the pizza (I tried a piece), and it was very good - yes - extremely thin. I had the usual "'grouper' sandwich, no sandwich please" - which means hold the bread (justifies the fries, ya know, although we didn't even eat all of them - too soft). Mike ordered a vodka/soda - and it came in a juice glass. Geez. The bill was in the low $30s I think, plus our own tip.

Walked back toward Divi Dutch, and walked along the beach. We've walked the boardwalk on the beach a lot, but not much desire to get in. There are very few spots along the Tam/Divi property that has a sandy beach. most of it has big rocks blocking you from entering. Since it's our LFD, we might have to make an exception today. We do love the beach, but with the pool being steps from our patio, it's been nice to hang there this time. No elevators - just a few steps away. Nice!

More pool time, reading, napping this afternoon. Didn't have a clue where dinner would be, so back to FB and Trip Advisor I go for opinions, reviews, and menu reading. I had somewhat narrowed it down to a few low rise places we'd never been, and ultimately decided on Elioti's. After a shower and HH drink, we took the shuttle to the casino to 'win dinner.' You know how that goes. Well - actually, we did great. Walked out with more than $100 than when we came in. Love those little $3 black jack tables! We had dinner outside. We walked up literally a minute before 7pm, so I asked if we could get the EB special, she agreed. As soon as I looked at it, I knew Mike would like it. So he got that - fish - and I got the lasagna w/ a side of veggies. Service was great. We had each a mixed drink before dinner and a wine/sangria w/ dinner. Bill was $91 plus our own tip.

Back to the casino, lost some then, but that's okay. Back to the room for a little tv and called it a night. This is an extremely boring trip - way more so than usual, but that's what we love about Aruba.... totally relaxing, which is exactly what we needed.

Wednesday - LAST FULL DAY (LFD)
