WARNING! You are soon to enter the boring AJ and lovely Mrs. AJ vacation zone.

Last night we ate at Bingos. I had the burger the lovely Mrs. Aj had a shrimp and grouper salad. We shared a house merlot (actually Mrs. I don't want anything to drink yet consumed 75% of it). Place for us is a must go as we remember when there was no outside seating. Seems to me that it is the only place on earth that still has a smoking section inside and air conditioned. Bill with tip was $42.00. No service charge but some environmental tax or something. We go for gelato (Mrs AJ's favorite outside of Italy) at the place across from the now Hilton. The strip is hopping. We head over to the Hllton to take a look as when it was the Radisson we spent 8 years going there. The place looks the same othert then painting and brighter lights. Head down to the casino and the almost lucky Mrs AJ drops $10.00 on penny slots. I watch the tables (I am NOT a gambler) and the poker table in the back. The entertainment is watching the poker TV watching want-to-be's bettying a few dollars at a time like it was thousands.

Today: The don't get up Mrs AJ was getting a palapas at 6:30 AM. She comes back to bed and we sleep till 8:00. I make the coffee and we walk down to the Holiday Inn. Comforting and scary that nothing along the way seems to change. Back I make breakfast and off to the palapa and my skinny boney white ass sitting. We head out to the water and float for awhile. Ba k for lunch and the hope to be soon bingo winning Mrs AJ heads for the game a and I back to the lounge hopeing thaty some thong wearing women (not speedo man) walks by. I am never disappointed. THANK YOU ARUBA.

Few room made cocktails later and the maybe next time Mrs AJ comes back full of love but no hard cash. We take a nap and back to the room. We are discussing now where to eat. (never an easy task).

TODAY'S COMMENTS:

1) Embassy Suites is hoping to build 330 unit resort just south of the Phoenix. Just before that condo that has Whites in it.

2) The now empty container area by downtown. It is said they want to make Aruba a cruise ship terminal much like Miami and Fort Lauderdale where people would fly in get on a cruise ship and return back her to head home.

3) Swim up pee bar. The Phoenix has a swim up bar and beautiful pool area. I had heard back when it was being built that they were hoping one of Aruba's restaurants or restaurantors would come and open up a place on the second floor to make the place a must go to place. Never happened and now it is the timeshare meeting place. If you haven't come by you should it is a place that should be in a resort not a timeshare.
Back to topic. As I sit on my balcony looking over the people who have been sitting on the seats in the water that are now VERY loud and have been there since lunch I have to ask. Do they get up leave the water and pee or do they just pee where they sit.
MY thoughts the water should be yellow.
You will not find the antiseptic Mrs AJ or I in the pool.

Finally the Weather. UNFRICKEN BELIEVABLE!!!!. Every day wake up to sun and breeze. Sun all day, low humidity and because this time of year the breeze is actually "cool". Little bit of sweating but not much.

This seems to be the time of year for the longtime timeshare people. They came just before Thanksgiving and will leave just before Christmas. Some will stay as the kids and grandkids will be here over the holidays.
