I bought some extra hot Italian sausage today to make sammies. I'm going to sauté some spinach in garlic and oil and some onions(separately) and put it on top along w/some cheese. I'll have some Chateau Moo with dinner, but right now I'm finishing off my Christmas beers. I'm having a Fatheads Pimp My Sleigh.

Salute y'all!

Oops, I'll take my thread down. We'll be having d/o roasted chicken tonight with mashed potatoes and peas. I'm having red wine now and will be sampling the Limoncello after dinner. Another boring day...I guess that's a good thing these days. I did successfully publish my golf league's website which is functional, but nothing fancy...yet. I still have a way to go with it and have to teach a few other ladies how to do their part in posting info, but I feel a little sense of accomplishment, since I am not a techie.

Froze Caserta pizza and a Wimpy the last time we had it, so that's what was dinner tonight. The couple pieces of pizza for me; the Wimpy Skippy for David. Made a nice salad to go along with it.

Cheers with a cold beer. Kelly, that sounds so good. We had oven baked chicken fajitas over rice pilaf. I did get the house back in order today. I even weeded out the catch all closet of stuff I no longer need or want. Some is already claimed by family and the the rest will get donated.

I heard they had an excellent day at the shelter with adoptions...here's to Caitlyn, Victoria, Raphie, Luna, Benny (the boy) and Benny (the girl who we originally thought was a boy), and Sabrina.

Cheers! I picked up a "family pack" at my favorite Tex-Mex restaurant about 5:00. 2 burritos, 2 enchaladas, 2 tacos, rice and beans.I ate the 2 enchaladas and some of the rice and beans this evening. I saved the burritos for tomorrow, and I chopped up the 2 soft tacos, mixed with rice, beans, and chunky salsa - put in Tupperware to freeze. All that food was under $13 including tax. I know the owners and many who work there so I paid $20 and refused change. I hope they survive.

We journeyed over to the other side of our community for dinner with 2 friends.
Lasagna and mixed green salad were on the menu. The guys had a glass of red (Apotek dark). We all had water, too.
The table was cleared and we played a round of cards, 4 hands.
The men won 3 hands...we were badly humiliated on the 4th. Total points: guys. Bragging rights: ladies.
Sandy brought a fresh fruit salad for dessert...enjoyed after cards.

Bon noche!
