Laura, those aren’t the same. The sides are basically like a slice of white bread. That’s why they grill or toast up good like Kat’s picture.

We have side sliced buns, we open them up and toast



You have toasty on the outside, we have toasty on the inside. Easier, less hot and messy to hang on to, keeping the toasted side, inside. I’ve never toasted both sides like the some of buns in the pic.

For myself I rarely splurge on buns, I’d rather splurge on the guts
