We tried a new recipe tonight - Skinnytaste's blackened fish tacos with cabbage slaw (recipe called for mango but I don't like fruit in dishes like this). I toasted the soft taco shells on our gas stove which definitely enhanced the taste. This recipe is a keeper.

Went to the store after work and got a rotisserie chicken. Mashed taters & gravy and peas/carrots on the side.

my boss asked me this afternoon what i thought about whats going on. didn't have a clue, some of us work. guess im supposed to be watching tv :lol: :lol:

caught about 5 minutes of news while cooking, yup i cooked! enough crap going on in my head, no room for news.

we had shrimp scampi, drink of choice is gatorade but i sure would have loved to down some of the wine that went into the scampi
