Nobody wanted to share this evening?

Real men eat quiche...at least that was what I (we) had this evening.
Sandy made a ham, swiss cheese, onion and spinach quiche. Eggs and milk, of course. Delish!
There was a fruit salad to go with it.
Milk with dinner.

I just finished a glass of red...and it's time to end the day.

After radiation, then appt with dietitian, then radiation/oncology doctor, I called my friends at Shucker's Oyster House and picked this up on the way home. They would not let me pay... even when I said give the money to your employees... no... The owner, Richard, brought tears to my eyes when he messaged me later: "If you need anything while you are kicking this Cancers ass you let me know and I’ll make it happen. You are a great man and have impacted my life in a number of ways over the years. Love you brother."

Tom, it more than warms my heart to know there are still people in this world who extend kindness to good folks like you! Hugs!
We had donovers....he had beef tenderloin with all the fixings and I had winter soup with cornbread on the side. A glass of red went nicely!

That was very special Tom. We had roasted chicken, mashed potatoes, gravy and peas. Red wine.

What a heartwarming story, Tom. So nice of your friend to want to help you. We're all with you.

We had Tommy's homemade turkey soup and grilled cheese. I used the last half loaf of olive rosemary bread we bought in the cape for the grilled cheese (small loaves!). I used extra sharp cheddar, crumbled gorgonzola, salt and ground pepper. I usually add some chopped green onions inside, but didn't have any, so I chopped red onion very small and sprinkled some on the sandwich. Then I had a great idea and put some under the sandwiches to get crispy onions stuck to the bread and it was delicious! The sandwiches took so long to make, not your childhood grilled cheese!!
