Good morning! Another day of nice temps here but the wind is going to blow so that won't feel so good. I made lentil soup yesterday. Today it will be pinto beans that I had soaking. A regular pinto bean recipe and some refried beans. Are those teens across the street at the high school ever going to get over that boom boom boom music?

Donna Lee, that's good you found just the part time job you were looking for. 

Laura, I don't buy Dell products either. Tech support was awful. Never again.

Tom, those are a lot of radiation treatments but I hope they do the job. I'm glad you at least get the weekends off.

Linda, that dr's eyes are going to bug out when they see that toe!

DonnapCT, congratulations on your new car but too bad about the other one. I'm sorry you had that happen to you. AAA is not good out here. I wouldn't waste my money on them...takes them way too long. At least Ashley and Mike made it to the airport.

Now I hope to make some progress on getting our Georgia companies switched to Florida companies. What a pain in the butt. I keep getting the run around!

Good morning! Georgia's election day is here. I've been getting 6 to 8 political mailers every day, along with 5 or 6 "Unavailable numbers" phone calls. Very annoying. Hopefully that will be over!!!!

Picking up 6 raw Gulf oysters, a fried shrimp basket with VooDoo sauce, and a cup of Creole gumbo on this way home this afternoon.

Don't know where the morning went since I got up at 6:10 AM. Never fear, Karen, the garbage did go out.
It was sort of a group effort...Sandy put some out and so did I. She has started walking again at 7:00 AM. I got my lazy butt going by 7:15 AM and walked around the 'hood for 35-40 minutes at 41°f outside. Chilly.
Had a half-hour conversation with our financial advisor...we're OK, considering our years of mostly being retired, but he will get back to us with answers to 2 questions.
Much nicer now at 70°f and mostly cloudless sun. Going to get out for a bank errand soon.
A group hug and prayer wishes for all the people with more pressing medical problems than ours right now.
