We're having baked cod, cauliflower/cheese and rice pilaf for dinner. Red wine and there will be some spiked eggnog for dessert. Someone has to drink it

It was thanksgiving here. Defrosted some of the turkey and gravy I had frozen. Made some stovetop, broccoli and opened a can of cranberry sauce.

Tree is ready for storage. Didn’t realize how much heat the lights gave off

I'll do my "Cheers" about 8:30 or 9:00, because my HH lasts longer than most... ;-) It would not be prudent to start early...

My "lunch" Was partly in memory of Shaggy John who would not have liked my brussel sprouts. There's one of my kraut sausages too!

Now I can "Cheers!" just poured an Andygator. What they about it makes it fit here: " Andygator, a creature of the swamp, is a unique high-gravity brew made with pale malt, German lager yeast, and German Perle hops. Unlike other high-gravity brews, Andygator is fermented to a dry finish with a slightly sweet flavor and subtle fruit aroma. Reaching an alcohol strength of 8% by volume, it is a Helles Dopplebock."

We wound up having the pasta and meatballs dinner...the sauce/gravy was made yesterday.
Our 2 neighbors did join us. She is medically fragile after chemo. We did sit at opposite ends of the table.
She seemed to eat well. He enjoys anything we put before him. The guys had a glass of red before and during dinner.
Sandy somehow found time to make brownies for dessert.

I think she is part "energizer bunny", but she went to dreamland about 1 hour ago.
I will join her in less than 30 minutes.

I made a shepherds pie using ground lamb & mixed mushrooms from the farmers market, I also slipped in a finely chopped carrot (John says he doesn’t like carrots but will eat them if they are small  )
