Cleaning out/sorting boxes in the basement, today I found this


Recipe of the winning cocktail of 2001 “one happy island”:

½ oz of Apricot Brandy
½ oz o Peach Schnapps
½ oz of Cointreau
¼ oz of Bacardi 151
¼ oz of Red Grenadine
Pineapple Juice

I'll be making homemade limoncello this weekend with a recipe supplied by a fellow monkey. :wink: Calls for a quart of grain alcohol or vodka plus the other ingredients which probably add up to about 1/2 gallon. George's comment - that alot, isn't it? My comment..do you think I'm going to take all that time to make a little bit? Do you think it will go bad? :lol:

The drink sounds good, Tom, except for the peach schnapps. It brings back baddddd memories of the night before my college graduation. :mrgreen: To this day, I can't have anything peach!! :lol:

Here's a link to a recipe. It says Fireball has been banned from several countries because of the propylene glycol (used to make antifreeze) I'll stick with the original Hot Damn and Hot Damn 100
