Good morning and a very happy new year! Didn’t sleep very well. Up early as I have a translation job at 11 am. Nothing else planned for today. I will probably veg on the couch and read the new Cormoran Strike thriller.

Good morning, need to give Buddy a bath. The shampoo from the vet has really helped his skin, although the 2 x wk baths for a month are a pain in the a$$.
No point in eating better, more exercise and less drinking on a Friday.

Good morning. 1/2 day of work today. Would have been nice to sleep in a little. Does anyone else leave their Christmas decorations up until "Little Christmas"?

Good Morning! The island is off to a 'wet start'! Growing up we left everything decorated until Epiphany.
Now they stay up until I am in the mood to take them down  Have a good day friends....remember....go out the door on your right foot first ....to get 2021 off to 'the right start'!

That was always the rule growing up, now Mom doesn’t give the signal to start undecorating until end of January at least, works for me  At my home, it’s whenever the mood hits but not before I have my family over for dinner, so anytime now....

Good morning and Happy New Year. I hope I can remember to use my right foot first. I think I will put a note on my right sneaker.

Good morning everyone. Happy Birthday to George. Happy belated Anniversary Judi! Hugs to Carolina & family. I normally wait Little Christmas Laura but it the mood hits it could be this weekend. No plans for the day yet here but hope everyone has a good one.

Good morning! I was sound asleep at midnight. Today I have cornbread muffins to bake and take to the VFW. My friend is bringing a pot of black eyed peas. The weather says we are having a snow shower so I went and turned on the patio lights--not a flake out there. Happy Birthday to George!

Happy 2021

Last full day with Ashley & Mike. Heading out to get their required Covid tests to avoid quarantine when re-entering HI. My decorations will come down tomorrow. :( I usually keep them up until mid Jan but I have a busy few weeks with my mom's move.

Happy Birthday George!

Thoughts are with Carolina & family.

morning, thought i would sleep in but i guess i didn't need it.

We used to wait until little xmas but like the others when i have time i do it. will start taking the inside down little by little. the tree is always last, its the most time consuming. most of my ornaments are stored in their original boxes. others are tissue wrapped and boxed, non-breakables are put in clear zipper pouches. fills 3 tote bins.

Happy Birthday George. thoughts with carolina and her family.

have a great day all

Good Morning. The first day of 2021 looks pretty nice with sunshine, blue skies and a chilly 27°F now. It will go downhill tonight with some wet, some white and a little freezing rain thrown in for good measure.
Have a great New Year's Day everyone and stay safe.
