Good morning and Happy 102nd Birthday to Uncle Milton! :D

It's pouring buckets - and of course Mom has an appointment. Add to that, I'm having an issue with my right shoulder (rotator cuff) which makes slugging a "jazzie" in and out of the Jeep very painful. David is coming along for the ride and to do the heavy lifting for me. These are the things you never think about when you marry someone (for us, almost 35 years ago), but in case I've never said it before, I landed a good guy - and I am fortunate that he's put up with me for all of these years.

Thinking about Ingrid and hope to hear from her soon...

Have a splendid day, friends!

Good Morning. Its finally raining here in New England and we need it badly. Its a small price to pay for a very nice weekend that we just had. We spent lots of time outside enjoying the warm sunny weather. Good luck with your test Tom. Positive thoughts for those still healing.
Have a great Tuesday everyone and stay safe.

Good rainy morning. Haven't seen this much (needed) rain in quite a while. Happy Bday Uncle Milton. That's quite an accomplishment.

I turned the heat on last night before I went to bed so I wouldn't wake up to a very cold house this morning. It did kick on at the scheduled time. If I can make it to mid-October each year without turning the heat on I'm okay with that.

Unusual not to hear from Ingrid on a daily basis. It's got to be so difficult for her and Evert. Continued best wishes and prayers. Wishing everyone the very best. Enjoy your day.

Good morning everyone.
Sending positive vibes to those in need.
Kat....sorry to hear about your fall.
Hope to hear an update on Evert.
Linda....be careful with your shoulder.
Happy Birthday to your Uncle Milton, Ardy.
Someone on Facebook is renting an ocean front, 2 bedroom unit at the Surf Club for $350 for a week in November. It's so tempting.....but I can't book it. I haven't been cleared to fly yet. I'll find out next Monday at my post-op appointment. I'll also have my PT evaluation that day. My surgeon warned me that I could be in PT for 9 months to a year.

Have a great day.

Late good morning check-in!
The weather is gorgeous on this side too...Ralph. It's 83°f.
I was the one who felt a little "under the weather." So, I took it easy for the first few hours of the morning.
Better now.
Hope things go better than well, Tom!
Happy Birthday to Uncle Miltie!
Have a good one, kids. Saw a cartoon this week along these lines..."I was gonna seize the day, but I gripped it lightly...and scheduled a nap."

Good evening! Tom, I hope the biopsy is behind you at this moment. Congratulations to uncle Milton. What an age to reach! MaryLou, Linda and Kat, hope all of you heal well and fast. Judi, thanks for posting the monkey meet pictures. And yes, wear a hat!

I am extremely busy with work and visiting Evert at the hospital, so some days it is hard to find time to check in. We are in the second wave of COVID infections in our country, so work is kind of hectic. And I only work half days, trying to put in a while day work.

Today, Evert switched from the infusion to the pills. He is experiencing some side effects, but nothing he can’t handle right now. Hope it stays that way, and that his heart stays calm. We are both so ready to have him out of the hospital.
