Late this afternoon I had a tuna sandwich and chips then went to a couple of stores. (Love going into the Dollar Tree store.) Just had some raw baby carrots with Ranch dressing and some celery with cream cheese. I'm in with a rum and coke. Beautiful sunset here in the Boston area.

We had some slices from the Sam's rotisserie chicken...white meat for me, a leg for my spouse.
It was served with some steamed cauliflower and the never-ending cheese sauce (Ragu brand).
Milk of choice with dinner.

I guess our son and DIL was supposed to join us for dinner. The menu would probably have been different. He reported that he has the 'sniffles', so they are staying away from the old folks.

Thinking about what will be my end-of-day libation. It's undecided but it will be stronger than moo juice.

Cheers! Picked up a Palermo frozen deluxe pizza at the grocery today. It was a BOGO too! But when I tried to buy extra pepperoni to add, there was none. I will not stoop to fake turkey "pepperoni." The manager said they haven't had any in about 4 months.... WTF? anyway, I still added more black olives, more shredded "5 cheese Italian" cheese and lots of parmesan romano. Very good! Shortly I will have my "supper" of the usual sausage/kraut and my side will be some of the Gorgonzola tater salad I got at the grocery deli. Yum.

This is what I buy, usually when it's on sale. https://www.greengiant.com/products/det ... ese-sauce/
