Good Morning. We have a crazy weather day coming today. Its cloudy now, temps will get to the low 70'sF this afternoon and winds will blow close to 40mph this afternoon with some possible thunderstorms. I'll try to sneak in a walk before it gets crazy windy. Happy Birthday to Mario. Continued prayers for Dick and Judi and Ingrid and Evert.
Have a happy hump day everyone and stay safe.

Good morning. Warm and windy here today, gusts expected up to 50 mph. I took down our backyard patio umbrellas and our front porch flag this morning.

I stopped at a gas station to check the air in my tires last night and reset the intelligent system in my car (more intelligent than me  ). It seems fine today. I don't know why it didn't go off the day I got the tires mounted.

I arranged with our neighbor's daughter to pay her to stay at our house with Levi when we go to the cape in a couple of weeks rather than him going to "camp". She's home from Univ of Alabama schooling at home this semester and can school at our house. We both feel so much better having Levi stay home for the week.

Happy birthday to Mario!! Hope to hear good news from Ingrid about Evert and from Judi with Dick's cat scan results today.

Have a great day everyone.

Good Morning!
Already back from taking Lilly to the Cardiologist, they wanted an EKG before starting meds and next week she'll get a full work up due to family history, need to do the same for Ian. I guess her counselor session went well, did not hear too much about it.
Judi, hope you hear back from the Gastro
Ingrid, hope we hear that Evert had a great night and is home!
Donna, hope your recovery is going well.
Teri, have a wonderful trip!
Happy Birthday, Mario!!!!
Have a tennis match in a few minutes, gotta run. Wishing everyone a wonderful day!

Good morning. Looks beautiful out there. Sunny and bright. Sure hope Evert can come home soon. He's got to be more than ready to break out of there Ingrid. Happy Bday to Mario. And glad to hear that Dick is feeling better. Had the winter servicing done on the heating system yesterday. I guess it's inevitable. Have a good day everyone.

Not going to happen Pammy, can’t quarantine over Xmas as long as Mom is alive. Did manage to secure my travel credit for my flight to match up with my bonus weeks next Nov/Dec. Now I just need to work on my trip for early next year....

Happy BIRTHDAY Mario from the little Canadian girl

Good Morning!
Wet and very breezy temp is 55 degrees heading downward.
Jarret is going to come over on Wednesdays and Thursdays starting tomorrow to do his at home on-line classes. Appartently he is struggling, with both parents working he needs prompting to sit and do. We will see how that goes.

Happy Birthday Mario~
Hoping for good news from Ingrid, Keep getting better Dick!

Thank you~

Congrats Ardy. HBD Mario. Glad all went 'ok' with Lilly.

Surgery was on left wrist last Thursday. I go tmrw for post op follow up and may schedule right hand. Being 'one handed' hasn't been easy, but relatively pain free. I dread having my dominant hand useless for a week, then careful for weeks more, but deductible is met for year, so i should do it.

Inlaws are in town..... ready?.... looking for their winter condo in Punta Gorda! Yes, us, then Mom, now the fun inlaws. Our realtor says she fully supports our family take over! haha.

Good afternoon all. More yardwork today. This is how it looked yesterday. For those of you in high tax states I'd like to complain that my proerty tax bill for 2020 went up to $592 for the year... :D :D :D

Beautiful Tom!! Cool on the property taxes. Does Georgia have a sales and/or income tax?

Yes to both. But my income is too low to have to pay state income tax, infact my fed tax has been below 5% for many years. Sales tax is pretty much 7%, less on some grocery items, and more in localities with "special purpose local option" sales tax.

As far as the property tax, we no longer have to pay school tax because of our age, which would about double our tax bill. And the valuation of our 3br/3ba 20 year old home, which was $120k 16 years ago, has only gone up to about $145-$150k now. Makes it impossible to consider moving because we couldn't afford to buy anywhere else for $600/month including principal, interest, taxes, and insurance.....

It’s a beautiful home to be ‘stuck in’ Tom. I LOVE a front porch especially in your tranquil setting.
