Good afternoon, all. Had errands and a hair appointment earlier today.

Good news - Mom's rheumatologist office is working on the paperwork to have all of her bloodwork drawn by the VNA in the city where she lives now. It cuts out four - six bloodwork appointments for the year. :D

Rock and roll lost a guitar legend yesterday. RIP Eddie Van Halen. Van Halen was the second concert I went to (AC/DC was the first). 1983, I believe. "Runnin' (Running) with the Devil" was mine and my friend's theme song back in the day. We sure knew how to have fun and stay .....just this side..... of getting into any real trouble. 8) Makes me feel all kinds of old...

Hope everyone is having a splendid day!

Good afternoon all. More yardwork today. This is how it looked yesterday. For those of you in high tax states I'd like to complain that my proerty tax bill for 2020 went up to $592 for the year... :D :D :D

 $592 a year! Why are you in a 3 bedroom house with 3 bathrooms and not in a condo with only 2 people? Were trying to get out of that dilemma now with a 3200sf house 4 bedrooms for 2 people, $8K in taxes :x How much land Tom?

Our lot is 0.28 acre. And we can't afford a condo. When have you seen a decent one for $600 a month? Not even around here. Any size apartment around here is more than we are paying. And having spent 33 years as a public school teacher in Georgia, married to a career waitress, we don't have 401K's and investments. Just Social Security and a partial Georgia teacher retirement. (22 years of the required 30 for full benefit) Never had a rich relative either. And you know I have no luck in the lottery.... lol Maybe I should fall in the aisle at the grocery and sue, ya think???? lol
