Craft fair is tomorrow! Some rain in forecast - but Tom will bring our canopy to put up for me.
Our DIL Megan will spend the day with me. She is my apprentice.

I took Kat's suggestion and made some gnomes. Then I made a sign that says "I'll be gnome for
Christmas". It's a challenge for me to post pics - I need time to sit and do it, but I promise I'll post
pics of our craft booth.

First time out - I'm excited & only a little anxious. I bought a square so that I can take cc payments -
and that technology sh*t always gives me pause - but I'm hoping it operates smoothly.

Thanks for the support everyone! Be back on Sunday to report results & post pics. :)

p.s. Fingers crossed for good weather!!!

Patti, we use square for our small business & as long as you download the square app to you phone it is easy to use, just be sure you charge the card machine if you have one that is separate from your phone.
Good luck

We had a successful day!!
Despite a rainy morning - we managed to keep stuff dry.
Our booth was small, but cute and I made $442. profit!
(You all realize I'm not doing this for the $$ - it's more of a fun thing for me. That said,
it's nice to cover costs of materials, be able to share with Megan, and make a run (or 3)
to Hobby Lobby with cash in my pocket.

Here is my helper from yesterday.

One of my favorite things that I made for fair were these chenille trees.
I added lights to some. I can imagine them on a mantle all winter long.
Anyway, I only sold 3! The shop owner who hosted the fair told me that
it was probably too early for people to be thinking about Christmas and that
she will sell them in her shop! She will take any of my items to sell in her
shop. So, I found a place for my items and I'm making new friends. :)
