Grilling some swordfish. Sides will be corn on the cob, green beans and mini potatoes.
H20 will be our beverage of choice.

I forgot to mention....I got a new car. 2020 Hyundai Santa Fe. I've had it for a couple of weeks. My kids had some negative sh!t to say about us buying a Hyundai.

We are going to have a grilled NY Strip which was in the freezer since 5/18. I'll let you know how it is  Making baked potato, sauteed onions, cuke salad with a neighbor's cuke and sliced tomatoes from our garden. Gin and tonic to drink.

Congrats on the new car ML.

The 13 kittens didn't go for spay/neuter today because Joanne had the wrong day. I haven't gotten an update on Pancho yet. Will check with Alicia later. Fingers crossed for him.

We're having Costco enchiladas with baked chicken. I don't know if I'll have a beer yet, but I'll definitely have one after yardwork. But first church and choir.

Cheers, we are still on the deck. I have a 2009 Hyundai Accent hatchback that I have put 45,000km on, my first car  I have never had one issue and my Kayak fits in it with the seat folded down peaking out the side window. I never thought I would drive a car this old but I figure, why replace what ain’t broke and buy a lemon. The first time I have an issue, it’s out the door ....and my friend wants it  Hers has over 200,000 Km’s , we bought the same year. Hope you have as good as luck as I have ML.

Siri says I’m up to 27,000 miles  And I’m sure the Silver Bullet would not want to be compared to an Accent

This was posted on Tuesday HH/Dinner. Got my days mixed up. Retirement will do that to ya!
Just (at 5 p.m.) had a roast beef, Swiss cheese, and tomato roll-up. Had a glass of water. In real time, just finished my rum and coke.

Donover night. He had pork tenderloin and baked potato sliced and pan fried, I had Jambalya ...we each had green beans. I had red, he had ice tea. Karen love the picture! The year I spent in Ohio my colleague/now friend and I often said....Ohio had a beautiful sky! I know you are in Canada  but a sky that is not interrupted by mountains  gave us a new perspective!
Marylou...congrats on the new ride!! :D

Pancho's staying overnight at vet. She said we'll know more tomorrow.

I found a recipe for a "Greek Pasta Bake". I liked it, DW liked it, she made it. I thought I would get a slot in the cooking dinner slot.
I was recently told that I must cut down on using salt. I haven't picked up the salt shaker in 5 days. Sandy left out salt in the pasta cooking water, but the recipe had briny (salty) olives, so I didn't miss any salt taste. I'm relying on Mrs. Dash...just a dash.
It was yummy...and vegetarian, loads of them. Could have added a variety of meats. This time, we did not.
Just milk with dinner.
We were having a raging thunderstorm at dinner time. Ate in the dining room rather than the glassy sun porch. Quiet now.
Winding down with some Perrier flavored by Pinnacle (vodka).

On the car topic, Sandy had a new 2014 Hyundai Sonata sedan. It worked well, just had some kind of oil loss that could not be diagnosed properly. It had 14,000 miles (22.5 km) on it when traded. She admitted it was 'too low' for her and her passengers.
Traded it for a 2017 Honda CR-V...also has low miles after 3.5 years.
Only complaint about Hyundai...it seems to lose its value quickly.
