Good morning! I had a fun day with Judi yesterday...she drove me all over the north end...saw sights I had not seen. Thank you Judi! I'm attempting the boat ride back to the private island today.

Good morning, going to be a hot day here although still felt good when I left the house.

Linda, great news about the Jags & that you already have your tickets.
Carolina, that stinks about your debit card, glad you got an alert. Any idea where is might have happened?

The Lowes installer is coming back today 5mths after the initial install started! The original guy didn’t have the correct stuff & the door was damaged, was supposed to come back within a few weeks to get it done. Fast forward 5mths & multiple phone calls with both Lowes & the installer, it took sending an itemized timeline to the CEO of Lowes to get this appointment  :x It had better be finished today & they are going to give us cash back as we kept the original door instead of having them order us a new one as it would have taken 6-8 weeks, well that time frame was blown past.

Have a good day

Bon dia tur hende.
Mostly cloudy morning, so temps may stay just below 90°f. Still uncomfortable humidity.

If you are tempted to update Windows 10 (as prompted), don't...if you need your computer. Took an ungodly 90+ minutes. Do it before bedtime.

Yep, looks like a tropical storm for Sunday to Monday...from a 'thing' that isn't even a storm yet. Looks like it is tending to move west towards the Gulf Coast. But here on the east coast, we would be on the "dirty side" of the storm. Meteorologists love to say that. If you're in Punta Gorda or St. Pete Beach, stay safe. A windy, rainmaker will probably be OK.

took tara up to the lighthouse after lunch yesterday; she had never been. we set a new record for stops...14. not as many places to find a bud up there as there is down here.

Oh, also met a girl at the ren from LA, guess what her last is....Ziegler!

Faro Blanco at the Lighthouse is one of my favorite places, mostly for the wonderful view. Was Rod the bartender working? Wayne maybe?

It is gorgeous out there. Shutting the AC off and opening the windows and doors, and having breakfast on the deck. Enjoy your day everyone.

Good Morning! Hey Don, have you checked the weather in Florida for the weekend? It looks like we could be getting a hurricane....keep an eye on it. (and that is not hurricane humor....or is it?)

Hurricane humor! I should feel guilty laughing but eye wall off the guilt portion of my emotional spectrum. If I get a 2nd container for my ice cream because I expect the first one to break, is that a cone of projection? The Florida Marlins have become a bit of a tropical depression, haven't they? They've really seen a surge...and not in the rankings. Ingrid, I hope the hubby is biking with you; it's never good to cyclone.

Maryanne, I've been keeping an eye on the tropics. I'm a bit of a wannabe meteorologist and amateur atmospheric prognosticator. Looks like it will affect the first few days of vaca. It will most likely not be a hurricane if/when it gets to the bay area. At least I hope not. I'm an optimist. I have some work to do while I'm down there. I'd fell far less guilty doing it when I can't go to the beach anyway. Now, if I can find a way to keep the boys quiet while I work...hmmm....

Good Morning. House is taking shape with new paint... Their method/timeline drives me nuts.
Yes, we'll be watching the storm... our first weekend in the house! Hopefully, we get the condo contents moved on Saturday before too much rain starts. We are minimalists you could say when it comes to decor - and summer storms make for a good reason not to have too much stuff on the lanai.

I know I'm not here a lot, but I feel like DonnaPCT has been missing for a few too many days. I hope all is okay.

Make it a great day.
