Good morning! I slept like a little baby. Although a lot of rain was predicted for today, we are now sitting outside and the sun is shining. It looks like a nice day with no rain at all. Which is great, as today we will visit an old estate with a beautiful building filled with its original furniture and a nice garden. This is the last visit we planned. After today, we will use the bikes we rented here to make biking trips in the woods. Weather will be perfect for that the rest of this week.

Good morning, hot day at the market yesterday & going to be another steamy day today.

Will be heading out for my run early before it gets too hot. Will be stopping at my brothers house afterward to pick up mums ashes. We were told it could be about 2 years before we got them back but it has only been 15mths (she wanted to be donated to the local teaching hospital to help the students). The plan is to take her back to UK but that will have to wait for a while, so until then she will be at my house :D

Will be making peach jam later with peaches from the market yesterday.

Ingrid you vacation sounds wonderful & relaxing :D

Have a good day

Great night of sleep here also! :D Rained yesterday for hours off and on.....I mean poured rain....puddles in the
yard this morning indicate it rained during the night also. Overcast and gloomy right now. Virtual Mass this morning (now that I know it is Sunday  ). Have a good day everyone....stay safe!

Good morning. This is my favorite time of day to sit on the back deck and listen to the sounds of nothing but the sprinkler and the birds. :D

Wishing everyone a peaceful and relaxing Sunday.

Good morning! You said it, Ann about the rain yesterday. Terry, Judi and I went to the Paddock while Dick gambled. It stopped raining long enough to move on to Lucy's but when we left there, we got dumped on...absolutely drenched. The forecast says thunderstorms this morning letting up by noon. I haven't seen any rain so far. I thought being Sunday would be a good day to go back over to that private island. I'm trying to work up the courage for that boat ride.

No rain here this morning either. Does the ocean look choppy? Keeping my fingers crossed for a smooth ride over to the island!

The ocean doesn't look too choppy. I've been watching him go back and forth.

Good morning. I had a restless night of sleep. I'm planning on a lazy Sunday unless I get the energy to wash the Silver Bullet. The birds have been pooping on it.

Good Morning!
Heading to the beach today....I got almost everything done so I could sleep in a bit.....MIL wished us a lovely week and woke us up at 6 something   Gotta love her, but she only gets about 4 hours of sleep so it is an ongoing joke about her waking us up.
Lucy is restless knowing something is going on, but she is coming with us and will be so happy when she gets loaded up in the car too :D
Wishing everyone a great week. I will be checking in from the beach but will depend on if my password is loaded in my phone or iPad  Is anyone else that lazy?
Pammy, this is strange to laugh at, but my MIL had her husband cremated (not Ken's dad) and had a black lacquer box with his ashes. She was so funny, she said she could not just "leave him at home" so she brought him everywhere. She brought him in the car, to our house, first in our living room, then he went upstairs to the room she slept in. It became a family fun story, and it actually made the kids more comfortable with the whole ashes thing, as they were young. Lilly would put little Valentines on Pop Pop's Box and she put stickers on it, I thought my MIL would be upset, but she loved it. Pop Pop does not travel as much as he used to. She is more comfortable as time has passed, been about 9 years now. I hope your Mum enjoys her time at your house before going back to the UK. :D Maybe she too can go for rides in the car :D
