Maryanne, have loads of fun!

We arrived at pur new home. It is a nice house in the middle of the woods. The last 1,5 kilometers you have to drive over a dirt road. It is so nice and quiet here. The guy who rents this place is next door in a huge house filled with really expensive art from famous artists. We had tea with him and a nice chat. There are also bikes here, so I guess next week we will ride the bikes in the woods.

We went shopping to buy some food. Had grilled chicken, roasted potatoes and a salad. Red for me, beer for him.

The gardens we visited roday were really gorgeous. I will post some pics here.

I’m with you MaryAnn, we did 2 beaches on the way, it was very hot and probably maxed Buddy to his limit  and now we are moved in. The deck is Buddy proofed Shady in the sea breeze and there is a screen doggie door. Cold beer, not sure on supper, Buddy already ate and is snoring. Called mom, I’m good to go. We are in heaven at the seashore. 8) I figured out the wifi, though not sure how reliable it is.

Beautiful gardens Ingrid.

Cheers

Beautiful gardens Ingrid, those hedges look like they are cut razor sharp!

Maryann and Karen, enjoy!!!

Dinner? Maybe grilled chicken or just an ice cream cone.
Went to the endodontist and they found the third root for the root canal they could not find before (in March) and yes, it was infected and they fixed it.
Novocaine starting to wear off.
Beer and Alleve for sure is for supper.

Bon tardi from the renaissance happy hour with Tara.

Been to multiple bars again. I know, shocker.

Btw, music sucks for HH. No offense, but all Latino music. Not for me or anybody here. Read the room!

Picked up a meatball grinder for Sue and a chicken cutlet grinder for me on the way home at the best grinder place in all of Connecticut, Franklin Giant :D A half of grinder will get me at least 2 meals if not 3. Cold bud will wash it down.

Since the Indians home opener is tonight, I'm grilling some hot dogs. Toppings are chili, ketchup, dill pickle mustard, and onions. Bush's Grillin' Beans and Scoops/salsa on the side. If there's room after, I'm going to stop at a local ice cream place and get blueberry crumble a la mode for dessert.

Happy Anniversary Ann!

Happy vacation Karen, Maryann and Ingrid. Sorry about the dental issues Kat. We had seven incoming kittens this morning and one poor little guy screamed most of the day. He didn't like being separated from his sibs. Red wine for me tonight along with leftover eggplant parm. Cheers.

Happy anniversary Ann and Glenn. Thank you for posting the pics Ingrid. Very beautiful. Enjoy your vacations Tara, Maryanne, and Karen.

Judi, are you missing the Red Sox opener tonight?

I am having chicken chow mein over rice for dinner. In with water. Will have a rum and coke while watching the Sox. Enjoy your evening.
