Good morning everyone.

Thinking of Donna and her daughters this morning...

Tara - continue enjoying. 8)

Travel - especially international travel - is not going to be easy this year...
Our 35th anniversary is in November and we have a reservation at our favorite hotel/beach on Anguilla. They are a small boutique hotel; the kind the "regulars" book out a year in advance so dates are always limited. The manager checked in with me yesterday, and she's not sure November is looking likely, and recommended we switch the reservation to at least January. Sigh. But okay, I'll plan to spend my 57th birthday on the beach with them again next year. Just need to try to nail down flights today. And look at a US alternative to celebrate our 35th anniversary. Not bad "problems" to have, considering all else.

Have a nice day!

Good morning, it looks like another hot one. A few errands this morning then a wake for a friend from work who passed away Saturday morning after spending the last eight months of his life in a hospital :( Ingrid funny (or not so funny) that you had a smoke detector story the day after mine. We had all eight screeching at 3:00 AM screaming FIRE. I think it may have been a power surge that set them off. Have a good day.

Good Morning

Thanks everyone. Yes, there will be ice cream today in the convertible on the 6th anniversary of Travis' passing. :D I've packed a picnic lunch and I'm heading out for the day to honor him. His favorite Lynyrd Skynyrd & Allman Brother's Band will be blasting.

Prayers are with those in need.

Morning all.

Normal stuff here.

Tara & Judi have a fun time, still keeping everything crossed that we will be there soon.

Donna, hugs to you. I never met Travis but I did enjoy his trip reports.

Good Morning!
Donna, you and your girls are in my prayers today. What a lovely way to honor Travis!
Tara, have fun in paradise for all of us today.
Ingrid, sorry about your beeping, that stinks!
My only day of no tennis, so lots of work to get done so I can bill lots of hours before going on vacation :D
Wishing everyone a wonderful day!

Good Morning. Our hot weather continues for another day. We have made great use of our daughter's pool for the past three days and our airco is working fine during the evenings.
Donna, hugs to you and your girls.
Have a great Tuesday everyone and stay safe and cool.

Thinking of you today, Donna.

Just finished watering here - now I'm off to water at the cemetery.

Tom and I rethinking Ar*ba in November.
We are so unsure about this trip!

Make it a good day, all.

Good Morning! Ahh, smoke detectors! When I have to change the batteries in 2 in the media room, I have to
borrow my neighbor's 12 ft. stepladder to get at 16 ft. Judi, Tara, Terry enjoy barhopping. Donna, enjoy this
day of reflection and tribute! Looking into new Samsung androids. Updates are making our existing ones
crazy. Wishing all a most splendid day!!

Enjoy your day Donna, I still remember introducing myself at LCB pool. Although it was a sad time for you, it was one of my most fun vacations in Aruba since I started coming alone. Go UConn

Transferring #1 son to our "adult" doctor. He got his covid swab test yesterday for the youth retreat next week. All 3 of us got antibody tests. He goes to meet our Dr at 3. Love him. He's a funny guy and #1 will love him.

We leave on the 1st for Florida. Our governor just YESTERDAY recommended a self-imposed, self-policed 14-day quarantine for Kentuckians after returning from states with a higher than 15% positive test rate. Florida is one of them. Of course. 18%. My great hope is that by the time we return on the 10th, Florida's strict masking and social distancing policies will have knocked the infection rate under 15%. It's no problem for me, I'm working from home anyway. But Sheltina is an essential worker in a supervisory position in a hospital. Fingers crossed.

Enjoy the island, ladies!

Don
