Good morning. Poor little chipmunk, thank's for saving him. Looks like a nice day. I didn't accomplish much yesterday so I have some work to do today. A little shopping, a little cleaning. We may go fishing tomorrow. Have a good day.

Good morning. Still less traffic than normal on my way to work even though lots have returned to work.

Just a work day today. I may run to Cabela's at lunch to pick up a couple of things Tommy needs.

Crossing my fingers for a new swamp grandbaby for Maryann today. I want to know if he has a name also!

Have a great day everyone.

Good morning all. Heading out to the dentist soon for routine checkups, it’s a new dentist as my prior one retired at the end of last year.

Linda, glad you save the little chipmunk.
Ronnie, great news on the employees coming back, hope that eases things for you.
Ingrid, 4 weeks off, I can’t imagine  Not sure I would be able to go back to work afterwards. Any plans?

Have a great day

Good morning. Big thunder boomers and lightning started around 12:30 a.m. Continued for and hour or so. Today the deck work will start. Supposed to finish the replacement tomorrow. We shall see. Have a good one.

They are pretty sure the baby will be called Wyatt Michael unless he does not look like a Wyatt Michael.

Good Morning. We have lots of clouds this morning and temps will only be in the mid 70'sF with some showers possible. We had downpours yesterday afternoon with lots of thunder and lightning. Getting a walk completed today will be a challenge.
Have a great Monday everyone and stay safe.

Bon Dia, everyone!

Cloudy & Rainy here. Fireworks are still on here for Friday, but it's a "stay in your car" thing. The lady that owns the company I broker through has invited her entire staff and all independent contractors and their families to her condo downtown to watch the fireworks and have food and drinks. The invitation specified "no masks allowed." Ummm...I don't think so.

Good morning! I have been sleeping so late in the basement the past couple days. I hope it rains this week at some point so fireworks don't set off fires. The stands are everywhere. I am going to the VFW stand tomorrow on my way to the lake. The stand is north of town on the county line. I'm glad I don't live where everyone shoots guns for the fourth. No big plan for today.

Good afternoon. Hoping to mow the yard this afternnon as the temp nears 90...... Big fireworks sales trailer at the local grocery as usual. That, and the gunshots here too, which have already started. No one seems to give a rat's rear about pets, vets, and others with PTSD. Let alone the wild critters. Goes on for days. 'Murika! Not what I call good citizens in our tightly packed subdivision.

Present and accounted for!
I really thought I wrote a good morning earlier, no not that early
Got my walk in, thankfully Larry put the air on while I was gone.
2 more days till repair guy comes, laundry is starting to pile up.
No problems with fireworks around here, Grands wanted to shoot some off while they were all here,
but it's too dry, when grass/fields green back up, it will be a go.

Have a nice day ALL~

Pammy, we have about 5 weeks worth of holiday a year. I get extra days because of the weeks that I am on 24/7 stand by. So all in all, I have 7 to 8 weeks holiday a year. And I found out it ain’t that hard to go back to work after many weeks off. We did 5 weeks on Aruba last year, and were planning 6 weeks this year. So 4 weeks is not that long. Also during the first week of my holiday I am on 24/7 stand by again and I need to work 1 day.

Yes, we do have plans. We will spend 2 nights in our favorite 5 star hotel about 1 hour drive from home. I hope weather will be nice, as they have the most fantastic swimmingpool. They are only on 40% occupation, so distancing will not be a problem.

After that, I rented a house in the north of the Netherlands for a week, and another one also for a week at the east of the Netherlands. These are houses in the woods at very lightly populated areas. Again, doing our best to keep distance to other people.

I will post in the swamp and do a kind of tripreport.
