Welcome Don. Reading your post made me anxious, so much happening in your life. I hope everyone is successful with their weight loss and that your business does well. You were lurking long before I knew there was a Swamp. I joined in 2007 but didn't lurk for too long before jumping in. You'll get to know us as time goes on. Another comic is good for this group.

Welcome again, Don! Gosh you're a busy guy! Good luck on all of your new adventures.

I hope your wife is feeling well after her surgery and learning what she can and can't eat. I worked with a girl who had gastric bypass who found, in addition to eating less, there were some foods that didn't agree with her any longer.

Hope you stick around, you seem like a lot of fun!

I thought I posted a welcome...well, maybe elsewhere.
I like this is a 'no-politics' zone...and we all loved, love, want to love Aruoooba again.

I used to chat at church with a guy from KY who also had a condo here. We do online church now.
I will admit that I attended the Kentucky Derby years ago - drunken party in the infield. As average people, we did not have seats.

Hi Don, welcome to coming out of the shadows & officially joining the swamp.

Good luck with your new self employment, & all your other goals. Hope your wife is doing well on her journey, it’s great you are doing it with her as I am sure she will appreciate the support.

Thank you everyone for the welcome!

Sheltina is feeling fine. She's got some soreness & bruising, but nothing she can't handle. She starts eating food you can sorta chew today (cottage cheese, creamy soups, soft cheese, etc.). Surgery was a little over a week ago, and between the pre-op diet and recovery, she's down 20lbs already.

Again, thanks everyone for the welcome! Look forward to knowing y'all!

I specialized in the groaning part.
