Found some eggplant parm in freezer which we had. Red wine for me. Two adoptions today. I be was there when five came back from spa neuter. Poor little Bailey was whacky from the anesthesia. We were able to get her settled in.

I grilled big burgers. I make a dry mix of Lawry's season salt, cracked pepper, and a little cayenne, then mix
and hand form the burgers. I top mine with A%uba Hot Delight sauce. I think I have one more jar. Sides of
fried peppers and a mix of chilled green beans and garbanzo beans with balsamic vinegar mixed in.
Maybe watch sundown with some rum and whites! Bon Appetit!!

Grilled lamb, basmati rice, & greek salad here. Boys had gyros. Currently drinking a Rhinegeist Truth IPA. Will be having a banana moon pie liqueur & spiced rum cocktail for dessert.

Wife had gastric sleeve surgery Saturday, so she had beef broth and a protein shake. I almost felt bad eating a good meal in front of her...ALMOST!

We had some fish (tilapia, I think). It was served sort of stew-style. Sauteed zucchini, onion, garlic and a can of stewed tomatoes...with the fish added near the end just to cook it through. Just milk of choice with dinner. I think DW said she had a bit of white wine before dinner.

I had an awful afternoon at the part-time job. I screwed up and overwrote the recording of an 8-page newsletter. The studio supervisor says she thinks they can get it back from the server/computer geek guys. We'll see. Maybe it is time to retire again.

I am settling down with something stronger before bedtime...not sure what just yet.

Laura, my friend at the studio said that she and her neighbor were finally able to capture the mother feral cat and two of her offspring (who were now impregnating her to TNR...2 more to go as of now).

Ditto. Don't sweat the small stuff, John.

Tommy grilled us some bacon burgers on tortillas and we just ate them sitting in the yard at the firepit. Skipped any sides so we can have s'mores in a little while. We have music playing in the yard on the Echo Dot, I'm drinking a Beachcomber and Tommy's having Sam Adams IPA.

Cheers to the weekend!

John, don’t feel bad, that kind of stuff happens. I am sure the computer guys can get it back.

We had eldest son coming over for dinner. The guys had lamb, I had saucages from the BBQ. I made coleslaw and french fries. Dessert was icecream with strawberries and whipped cream. I had 2 glasses of my favorite red wine. It was very hot, so we sat outside under the huge tree.
