Good morning. No results yet for Matthew, but at least he's happy with the grocery order I sent to him. :-) Grandma wants to order him chinese food today.
TJ and gf made it in safely around 1:30am. I got a quick walk in and now waiting for biscuits in the oven to make sausage gravy for my baby.
Today, Mike and I celebrate 26 years of marriage - long distance. We weren't physically together last year either.

Have a good one.

Good morning all, should be a sunny day for most of the day but then possible storms later. Hoping they hold off as John will be at a framers market.

Ingrid, great news that your infection rate is much lower & as you said hopefully people don’t think that means everything back to normal. Wishing you a wonderful, peaceful long weekend, you deserve it.

Ronnie, good luck with your EKG.

Donna, Happy anniversary to you & Mike.

Have a good one all.

Good Morning. All the t-storms over the past few days have missed us and I think it will be dry here again today. Temps are mid 70'sF now...high 80'sF this afternoon. I think there will be some pool time this afternoon.
Thoughts and prayers for those awaiting test results today.
Happy Anniversary to Donna and Mike!!!
Have a great Thursday everyone and stay safe.

Good Morning!

I think we are going to MN DIl's sister lake house, for more paddle boarding, I am sure I will master it today (that means standing for at least 10 seconds), and more fishing. We have been having a nice time with all 5 grands, a rare treat for sure!!
Good luck today Ronnie!
Welcome back Tom!
Happy Anniversary Mike & Donna!

Have a great day ALL~

Good Morning!
Had a great day celebrating Ian...he spent the day with friend, dinner for the 4 of us at a nice steak house, then dessert at our house with the grandparents......until he decided to flex his 18 year old status a little.....Ken took Lucy out at 4am and Ian's car was gone....Ian was gone...he had turned off his Life360 app, that we can track him with. Fully wide awake and upset.....20 minutes later and frantic, I finally found a note he had left. He was staying with a friend who was dog sitting and bored near by. I know the mom of the boy well and she told me about the dog sitting, so I knew his story was true. He wasn't at a strip joint, he wasn't buying drugs, he wasn't dead...he was being a good friend, so we had a LONG talk with him this morning and explained that we don't just disappear. That is not acceptable EVER. Scared the crap out of both of us but trying to give grace and set up some parameters that we can all work with. Ugh! Today is going to be a long day. Need a nap already. Phew, this parenting of teenagers is exhausting!
Teri, Have a wonderful time in Erie!
Ingrid, I hope you get your full day off!
Welcome Home Tom & Karen!
Ronnie, hoping for a good EKG for you!
Happy Anniversary Donna & Mike!
Ardy, enjoy those kids! I bet you rock the paddle board!

Lordy, lordy...we used to be separate/away from family events on earlier days by choice (jobs, vacation trips etc.).
Now it seems we have to choose to stay away in the name of safety.

Best of luck, Ronnie. I thought maybe you were having what is called 'nerve conduction study'. Been there, done that. Some transitory discomfort.

Happy day, Donna and Mike!

Teri, a dozen years ago, a friend was working on a rehab project in Erie. I think they were turning an abandoned place along the lake to usable space again. Somehow, I think it was going to be a public library. Pictures looked wonderful!
In my better days, I used to drive through/around Erie on I-90. I-90 was the way across upstate NY to Ohio and the Midwest.

Carolina in GA...good that you could go to a restaurant for celebration and I hope you felt comfortable. We only do 'take-out' thus far.

Continued good wishes for a good day.

Good morning. The humidity has taken a break for the day. AC is off and all windows and doors are wide open. (Today feels like a Saturday to me.) Wishing everyone the best. Enjoy your day.
