Well, it is 91F and feels like 105F with total sun. I am anticipating the Saharan Dust soon and will not have sun for days. Tried to sit out back but lasted 15 minutes.
Beverage of choice is Pinot Grigio, dinner will be salmon and veg for DH and Chicken Pot Pie for me.
MaryLou.....how are you?

Grilled pork chops, corn on the cob and bean salad.

Maryanne....I had a tele-a-med visit with my PCP at 8:00 last night.
I went for a chest X-ray at noon today. Still waiting for my results. Other than my dry cough (I sound like a Chihuahua....) I feel okay.

Donoever steak, veggie and pan fried potatoes for him, a salad with homemade blue cheese dressing for me. Beach was great but it was hotter than it has been in months and months. Staff were wearing masks...not for virus but to protect from the Saharan sands!

hope you get good results marylou.

I came home about 5 PM. My dear spouse was hosting 3 other (socially-distant) ladies in the living room for wine and snacks.
I joined in with too many snacks. Dinner time rolled around about an hour later. We decided on just having some thawed shrimp with cocktail sauce.

Day ends soon. I had a small bottle of OJ from earlier today. Why waste it without some vodka before bedtime?

There is still some rumbling from T-storms in the distance. TV reports/radar agrees that it is happening.

Bonne nuit, mes amis!

Mom and her friend wanted me to go out with them.... Who was I to say no. So, off to Village Fish Market we went. I had a broiled crabcake from the appetizer menu and a side of fried zucchini (YUM!). Oh, and a Bacardi/Diet to wash it down. At home, I had some raspberries with a smear of nutella. Even more YUM!

Cheers! Nuked a Hormel Compleats Dinty Moore Beef Stew and made a small side salad for my supper. Georgia "numbers" are really going up and lots of folks refuse to wear masks when grocery shopping etc., so we will not be going "out" to eat for quite some time.

We had pork roast done on the Ronco, delish! salt potatoes and a lovely garden salad, lots of fresh fruits, and veggies, crescent rolls. Grand daughter Allie made a from scratch homemade chocolate cake and frosting decorated with strawberries too, for Jarrets birthday celebration. It was fun having all 5 grandkids here.
