We had turkey burgers and beans. I also had an entire avocado and tomato. Still no Grandboy #2. Juice and Goose is the beverage of choice.

Spaghetti squash with homemade marinara here. And a Hopslam I've been saving since springtime. And a dram of 18 yr old Glenfiddich. I "officially" became self employed today!

Good luck with the grandbaby, Maryanne. My mom told me if she knew how much fun being a grandparent was, she'd have done it before she had kids.

I had a burger, no roll with onion and a sliced tomato.

Tara, I applaud you, I could never eat that way and be satisfied.

Our lunch from a "Drive-by Pick-up" at Shucker's Oyster House, in Carrollton, GA, this afternoon. Pictured are the 1st six of my dozen oysters "The Shuckers Way" which means on the half shell, topped with a bit of crabmeat, shredded white and yellow cheese and a jalapeño slice, then put under the broiler just long enough to melt the cheese and brown up a bit. On the right are my world-class fried pickles, served with Shucker's VooDoo sauce. If that isn't enough, I have a cup of Creole Gumbo for later. Elaine had the fried shrimp basket and Garlic Steamed Vegetables. HH will be in a couple hours.

I agree Kathy. Yikes. We had roast beef, garlic roasted red potatoes and corn. I had a gin and tonic. One of my dearest friends from DuPont lost her husband last night  May he be playing golf in Heaven with his friends.

Don, your Mom was right! My kids are horrified by my "Nana Banana" behavior. Oh honey, you don't want to eat what I made you for lunch? Let me make you something else. Cause what they got was, "Do you think this is a fast food restaurant and I am a waitress?!?!" Nana Banana got soft.....

Bless you Tara. I should and could diet but plant based does not work for me! You are an inspiration! Our non diet dinner was ribeye, baked potato, asparagus and salad! Homemade blue cheese dressing that husband said was as good as Ruth Chris  Since oven was going I made bread pudding for dessert! Still cooler here than NH tonight according to my bestie!

We finished the last of the Log Cabin leftovers. I'm having a huge glass of sugar free lemonade and Tommy's drinking cabernet. Also had a sugar free popsicle.

We had a strong thunderstorm around 4 PM. I think we were contemplating using the grill (outside but under cover).
The storm had abated, but we skipped the idea of cooking outside.
Decided on leftover chili over rice.
I had a glass of red before dinner. She had a half-glass of white.
I am finishing a glass of hard seltzer before calling it a day.
Bon noche!
