Good morning all. Overcast and humid here today.

We had a busy end of last week and into the weekend. David's Mom's wake and burial were on Friday, late lunch on the water after, then a cookout here on Saturday with immediate family that went into the night. Yesterday both of us literally floated in the pool all day - mentally drained and exhausted.

Today, I have to get back at it with my Mom's "stuff". And David has to head down to sit with his Mom's significant other to sort through "things".

Have a nice day, friends.

Good morning. I'm working from home today since we still haven't received our test results. Tommy works outdoors and can stay away from people, so he went to work. He left Levi home with me to be in the air conditioning since it's supposed to be humid today.

I saw photos online from Puerto Rico of before and after the Saharan dust. Sure looks like a thick fog - I hope it doesn't last long. Ann, I also saw on the weather report that it may southeast US by this weekend.

Enjoy your Monday everyone.

Good morning! Just another lazy day here today. I'm certain we won't be getting any Sahara dust. A new dryer is supposed to be getting delivered later this afternoon sometime.

Linda, I'm glad you and David had a relaxing weekend after all the family and funeral.

Froggy, give a shout out to my cousin Anne. She lives in Duxbury and goes to the beach regularly. She was not happy when they closed it for awhile over covid.

Hazy sun s what it looks like this morning. Also the cars end up with a light layer of sand (but not as bad as the yellow pine stuff in NH in the spring  ). Yesterday the sky was blue with a few white clouds (regular) and some beige clouds (Saharan sand). Perhaps people who have respiratory issues are impacted also.

Kristin hope your test comes back negative.

Good Morning! This week begins with sun and temp up to 91°. Roofers are coming to
redo some flashing. Noticed a 3 ft. long stain since last t-storm on dining room ceiling.
Thinking of pool dipping later. Hope everyone enjoys a nice day as well.

Already 81 degrees, not walking today too hot, I have enough to do in the house to keep me busy.

Good Morning!
Have to go drop my car at the service center on the way to a tennis match. Had a low tire, took it in, they patched it on Saturday....flat again the next day, so we'll try again! Had a great Father's Day. Long walk with Ken, then lunch at his mom's and my sister and her new boyfriend came over for drinks last night. Thrilled she has found someone who makes her so happy. Wishing everyone a great day!
Kristen, hope you get good news!
Sorry about the dust in AUA, crazy to see that map!
Linda, thinking about you and David today.

Good morning everyone. Just a regular workday and very busy. I told Mike yesterday that things will quiet down for me after 7/1. This morning someone resigned and the other support person on that team is on 2 weeks vacation starting 7/2 so looks like I jinxed myself.

Thanks Ann. Is this a seasonal thing or does it pop up at any time?

Good afternoon. Got up a couple minutes before noon, but still on my first cuppa. As I remember from past occurances, the Saharan sand in the upper atmostphere is not unusual. Does make for some great sunsets, and likely sunrises too, if you can't sleep.
