Good Morning!
Tom, sorry to hear about your friend.
Heading out to play mixed doubles this morning. Season started this week for multiple leagues I am playing in. My sister is coming down for Father's Day. We will all have dinner up at the Lake tonight and get to visit more tomorrow.
Wishing everyone a wonderful day!

Good morning! It was supposed to be rainy all weekend but I guess not now. It's a beautiful day shaping up. A friend and I are going to my nephew's uptown bar for boozy brunch. Every year there are artists who place sculptures around downtown and today is the unveiling of the new ones. It's interesting to see what they make. The old ones are sold to businesses and individuals.

Yesterday was Phase Out day here so the restaurants can put all their tables and bar stools back now. Things are returning to normal here. I still plan to wear a mask to the store but nobody does at the bar. Hard to eat and drink wearing a mask.

Good Morning!

79 degrees, light breeze........... grass is just about toasted, see rain in this weeks forecast.
Minnesota DIL and grands are coming to NY, they left this morning. They will be staying at her sister's lake house on Lake Ontario. Most likely will will visit them there, lots of outdoor space to social distance.
In another world Larry and I would be flying over the Atlantic right now on our way to London for 3 nights, before boarding our ship for a 28 night Scandinavia/Russian/Iceland Adventure Cruise. :(
As long as we stay healthy and life goes back to normal, we will try again in 2022.

Have a nice day ALL~

Good Afternoon. I had a busy morning trying to get the laundry finished before it got really hot. I don't like to overstress our electricity service with the dryer and all the airco units running at the same time. I also had to defrost the cellar freezer since it was starting to have trouble staying at 0° F. It's supposed to be a frost free freezer but the coils ice up after about 12 months of use. I've defrosted it so many times over the years that I have it down to a science by now. It takes me less than half an hour to melt all the ice on the coils using a hair dryer and then power it back on and wait a few hours for it to get back down to temperature. I had enough room in the kitchen fridge to keep everything cold enough while I was working on the cellar unit. Everything is done now and the house is nice and cool. Outside it is 88° F and may get a few degrees hotter. Since today is the longest daylight of the year I will wait until it cools off a little to get outside for a walk.
Enjoy the rest of Saturday everyone and stay safe.

Good Afternoon

Top 10 weather day. Lounging in/by the development pool. Opened on Wed with new guidelines. Allowed to sign up for 2 hr time slots with max capacity of 35 for pool deck and 20 for pool. Lounge chairs are socially distanced. (Time slots are 10am-12pm, 12:30-2:30pm, 3-5pm, 5:30-7:30pm. Clean down is 1/2hr after each session.) So far, only a handful of people each day during my prime time, time slot. Think many people in my development are not ready to mingle at the pool yet. All the better for us brave ones. Yesterday & today, I was able to stay for 2 consecutive 2hr slots. Hope this continues all summer! :D

Prayers for your friend, Cap'n Tom.

Prayers for all in need.
