Good morning! The sun is shining! I'll be going to the store, then stop by my brother in law's and then bike to Speakeasy and meet up with the biking buddy and another mutual girlfriend. I don't know after that.

Kristin, sorry about the well but at least it sounds like you got your money's worth out of the old one. You've lost 15 lbs? Congratulations!

Tom, I hope you find your new winter getaway in the Villages!

Good morning everyone. Lots of firsts in the swamp. :( Thinking of our niece and nephew who just lost their Mom a couple of weeks ago. Happy Mother’s Day to all the swamp Moms.

morning, got out this morning in the drizzle to vacuum the pool, finished just as it started to downpour.

just made 4 calls to the "moms" in my life, my aunt, 2 sisters and SIL, none of them answered  oh well, texts will have to do

happy mothers day to the swamp ladies, you are all amazing moms. Furbaby moms too. special hugs to ingrid, ann, pammy and kristin. August will be 16 years without my mom and the tears are flowing as i type this. special days hurt so much more, especially when they go too soon.

Good Morning & Happy Mothers's Day.
This is 2d yr without Mom for this day & still somewhat sad. 43 deg here in CT vs. 85 at home in FL. About 20 of us
are to be heading out to Kinsman Brewery in Milldale then later back here for cookout. Still no clams, but not for long.
Wishing all a wonderful Sunday!!

I always feel sad for you when you post the pics of you and your mom on vacay
together in Ar*ba. How special that must have been for you both!! Gone too soon,
that's for sure. xo

Yesterday I brought my 85 yo mother to our new boat.
She had never been on a pontoon before - hopped right on like it was nothing.
We had to wrap her up while she sat in the sun - but she loved it and is looking
forward to the summer. (Where our boat is docked - her brother had a "boat house",
until they were all torn down about 35 years ago.) My mom comes from a family of
fishermen. 8)

Happy Sunday & Mother's Day, all.

Good Morning!!! Already back from our after breakfast beach walk and Happy Hour has started. Ronnie is right, it is very cloudy here on the island. UV rays still get through the clouds and they make it very comfortable to be outside with the trade winds blowing. No problems with power on our end of the island. I have our flashlights ready if needed.
Happy Mother's Day to all the swamp moms!!!
Have a great Sunday everyone!!!

I’ve have a fantastic step-mom, Maddy, for going on 51 years now. She has been a “rock” for our family and I love her dearly. On Mother’s Day I also reflect back to my birth mother. I have wonderful memories of my birth mom Betty, but sadly, as the years have elapsed, the memories are fading. Maybe that has happened to you too? My mom Betty attended my high school graduation in 1965 in her wheelchair, and died three weeks later from Multiple Sclerosis and its complications. If you lost a parent at an early age it is often worthwhile to talk about it with a counselor – we can have some strange feelings about a parent who “leaves us.” This photo is my mom and her mother, my grandma Crothers (dressed for Easter, notice the birds…), at the farm on Dunbar Road in Ida, Michigan, where we lived for several years.

Late in the day wishes to all Moms on Mother's Day...with us and in our memories.
The prayer in church today was for all mothers AND all who stand in the place of mothers. We are know there are people who fulfill both rolls.
