Spent the day with donna at the Marriott. FYI, water was freezing!

Said to donna, let’s take a walk to see if we can find donnalee...

Yeah!

Good find Judy. We had some excitement on our street today - at least ten police cars, two ambulances and the fleet of the SWAT team. An old lady was escorted out of the house and her son was barricaded up in his bedroom, said he had a gun. He's apparently got some mental issues and off his meds. Street was blocked off for about three hours and they were able to get the guy without anyone getting hurt. It was a good opportunity for neighbors to get out and talk after the long winter. Cheers with a gin and tonic.

Great picture. Laura, good nobody got hurt.

No alcohol here, I am on 24/7 duty. Need to have my act together if something happen and I need to lead the crisisteam.

Did a lot of weeding in the garden. 1/4th of the garden is done, tomorrow I want to finish the garden in front of our house. Next weekend the back garden. My fingertips are hurting. About to go to bed now. Good night.

Looking good ladies! I'm in w/a Yuengling Black & Tan. Shortly I will be firing up the grill on which a rib steak and asparagus will be grilled. Also I'll be having some smoked shrimp and sriracha smoked salmon. Dessert his weekend will be for my mom. She loved strawberries. So since I can't spend tomorrow with her, I decided to get some strawberry ice cream to eat in her memory.

Buon appetito and salute everyone.

Dinner was homemade low cal shrimp Alfredo...it was good if I do say so myself  I had white, he had Gatoraide. Kelly, what a thoughtful dessert. Thanks, my mother loved chocolate ...tomorrow I will have a dish of chocolate ice cream to honor her :D ( our first Mother's Day without our mother and my siblings and I agree... :( ).

Hi Judi and Donna x 2!! Great picture.

We just finished takeout from the Log Cabin. I swear we could eat these dinners for the rest of the week...they give you so much food. I had Chicken Sorrento and Tommy had Seafood Combo. They give you great salads, a huge container of penne with their homemade sauce and at least half a loaf of Italian bread. All NOT food I should be eating!! But I hit the 15# mark, so I'm celebrating! We're also drinking Moscow Mules.

Cheers! Went to usual Casa Sol, but no buffet, an old friend of mine was entertaining with music and I wanted to be there to see/hear her. A large chicken burrito fajita and two Margaritas later I am home enjoying my Lites.

pool guy showed up at 10:30, not exactly ready for him but it worked out. the pump was seized but he got it going and said it should last the season. the liner split more over the winter so it will need to be replaced. its fine for now so i told him whenever he has time we'll replace the pump too.

went to the tiki bar, had clams and fish tacos, vodka lemonade too. will probably need a bunch of motrin tonight
