7 hours later back home.Went to primary care doctor first, after ekg sent me directly to heart doctor, actually the same one who treats Sue. Checked me out and wanted a stress test done, I do have a murmur which he said is no big deal, hooked me all up and ran the treadmill for as long as I could before pain started in my chest, couldn't get anything out of that. Sent me for a blood test that they needed back the same day, of course it was a totally different place where I had to go for another blood test from the primary care doctor so a needle in each arm at each stop. Then it was over to the hospital for Ex Rays on my chest. Tomorrow they want me in for coronary angiogram at 10:30 and they say I have to be still after for 3-4 hours? Good luck with that one. Everything is moving way to fast! :x Primary doctor told me to stop taking medication the @ruba doctor prescribed, said it's making it worse! :x

Well, you might feel overwhelmed by all that's been done and getting done....but it's a good thing that the doc is doing a full cardiac workup on you. Just sleep during those hours. Do you know if they will pass by your wrist or groin?

Hmmm, may feel fast but let’s get it done and get it fixed. Pretty amazing that you were able to get that all accomplished today. Good luck tomorrow!

  I’m sure Sue hopes they don’t miss either

I suspected they would do an angiogram to check for any blockages. Usually they go up through the femoral artery which is why they don't want you moving around after the procedure. It's good that they are doing it all right away. I'll be thinking of you tomorrow.

Often done through the wrist these days..shorter path, easy to keep pressure on it post angio, and easier to check. François has had it done both ways. Now they almost always pass by the wrist.

NO Alcohol for you tonight!!!

Ronnie, although it is a bit much a bit too fast, I am glad they give you a thorough checkup. Try to get some sleep tonight and good luck tomorrow!
