Cheers in just a bit.
2 families are coming over. 4 college kids and a middle schooler included. Happy to have my family home. I wasn't sure if we'd get them both in the house tonight - and for more than an hour or two!

Mike's got 4 beer can chickens on the grill. I've got a fruit salad made and veggies ready to roast, along with some oven fries. CRAP!!!! I keep forgetting that I don't have two ovens now. Damnit. Not sure I can all of that in this oven... and should be at different temps. UGH!!!!

I'm making some seafood pasta....garlic, EVOO, white wine, fresh basil, chopped roma tomatoes, clam juice, shrimp, scallops, and calamari over spaghetti. Picked up a loaf of Italian bread at a local bakery today to have with it. I'll probably crack open a barley pop while cooking.

Froggy, you have never heard of beer can chicken? We went out for filet mignon. Malbec for me and white russians for him. The bartender treated Mike to a delicious strawberry shortcake type dessert which we ended up taking home. Yes, it’s delicious.
