Cheers; just poured a rum and pepsi. Sat outside for a bit with Buddy in the sunshine, it felt so good! Came inside and the weather channel said -3c  It felt 60F ish to me in the sun. Painted, took Buddy for a walk; a good day. Leftover roast and vegs from yesterday. Where are you tonight Laura?

I went to Fresh Thyme earlier as they had T-bones for 6.99/lb. They were out so they were selling boneless strip steaks for the same price. Works for me! On the side will be a nuked tater w/butter, sour cream, chopped green onions and blue cheese crumbles.

We're sitting at the pool at la cabana having Absolut and grapefruit after another successful beach day...with Amstel Brights to finish the afternoon. It seems more crowded here than last year. More people in the pool. We'll be going down the slide soon. Karen, we're sitting to the left of the slide with the camera behind us. :)

Not sure what's for dinner. We'll figure that out soon.

Cheers

Made a meatloaf, kielbasa and pot roast (this is amazing this time!)
Weather was crappy this am so didn't go to BJ's and get chicken, will stop after work one day this week.
At least the crap that fell this morning got washed away by the rain, spring is coming, I just know it!

Life is good!! It is 86 degrees out, full sunshine. We came inside to eat dinner, a rib eye steak, broccoli and sweet potato. DH had a Grey Goose Mule and I was in with Pinot Grigio. Heading in early for bedtime, 6am will come before you know it!

Kristin.....how was the Peruvian restaurant?
****Never mind*** I should have looked at the restaurant reviews before asking. Glad you enjoyed it.

I made bacalha a Gomes de sa. Salted cod, potatoes, sautéed onions in crushed red (wet) pepper, boiled eggs, black olives and EVOO. Layer all the ingredients like a lasagna.
