We had such a beautiful funeral today. The nature burial site is very quiet and green, and the sun was shining brightly. My mothers sister, my sister and me in our speeches celebrated my mothers character and life. There were almost double the amount of peopletjat we expected, which is a proof how much she is loved. It was emotional as well.

We drove 2 hours home and went to a good chinese restaurant with our eldest son. I had a glass of merlot. Now I am very tired. I guess I might go to bed really early.

Thank you all for your prayers, positive thoughts and hugs.

I know the feeling..sad but relief that all went well. Would like to say I went to bed early after my mother's service in September....but what I did was enjoyable...we stayed up late and told 'Mommy/Grammie" stories and laughed...and enjoyed some bubbly while doing it. Hugs Ingrid...all is good!

Here's to the smiles that will cross your face when least expected; great remembrance experiences. Wishing you peace and comfort.
