Good morning. I'm driving George to a doctor's appt. since his eyes are still a little blurry. There is a funeral in town today for a four year old girl and her grandmother who were killed in a house fire last weekend. The girl and her brother were staying the their grandparents for the weekend. Our community hung pink and blue ribbons with snowflakes on the poles and trees along the main road because Brookie loved Frozen and they also raised about $200,000 for the family. Remember the family in your prayers.

Good Morning!!! It's quite chilly this morning but the sun is shining and it looks really nice outside. If I walk outside today I'll need to bundle up for sure. The high temps will barely make it to the freezing point!!!
Have a great Monday everyone!!!

Good Morning all. Hugs to Ingrid and Mary. Pat, I feel your pain. I wasn't letting it get to me, as it was just a head cold, but I can feel it moving into my chest now w/ a deeper yucky cough.

I need to do more "freezer cooking" prep today for my niece/nephew and going to MS bball game for our friends' daughter... the star of the team. Work in between..... oh yeah, I guess it's about time I tell you what I'm doing now.... soon.....

Have a good one.

Good morning everyone! Need to call and make appointments today for an oil change, an airbag recall on my car and a mammogram. Sorry to hear about all the bad luck you’re having Mary. Yes Karen I do need a ticker. I will have to ask Ron how to do that. Keep those plans coming. I’m really excited and can’t wait to see you again. Looking forward to lunch and the beach crawl. Maybe a day just hanging out on the beach together and dinner afterwards? Everyone there is invited.

Good morning all, I headed into work early to get a couple hours in before I leave to take mum to her Dr appt with the oncologist. We already have the unofficial word that she will need radiation and should be good after that but I still have questions.

Yikes Mary, that sure is one heck of a start to the year  That means you are done for the year & smooth sailing for the rest.

Ingrid, hugs to you on what I am sure will be a difficult day. I do like the thought of the nature burial, peaceful.

Have a good Monday

Good morning all. Ingrid, that sounds like a beautiful resting area for your mom.
Mary, crazy start to 2019 but like said glad nobody was hurt in the accident and things are getting sorted out.
Our prayers to the family that passed in the fire Laura. That is a shame.
Have a great day all and be well

Good morning! Mary, the year can only get better now--sorry about all the troubles.

Ingrid, I like your mother's plan for burial. I have heard of those natural burial sites and one was started just north of here--Heart Land Prairie. I don't know if anyone is buried there yet--it just opened a couple years ago.

Pat, DonnaLee, Ann and anyone I've missed--sorry about the colds and I hope you all turn a corner on that soon. I've been lucky so far this winter.

I have some pork ribs in the fridge to clean and will make pork chili in the crockpot. I am meeting a couple friends at Speakeasy for lunch to celebrate the birthday of one of them. We'll see where it goes from there.

Good Morning!
Ingrid, your plans for your mom sound lovely.
Mary, so sorry about your start to the new year. Glad things seems to be clearing up!
Laura, so sorry about the family involved in the fire, we will lift them in prayer.
Hope everyone gets to feeling better. I still have my hacking cough that drives Ken crazy.
PLM, so glad to have you and your sense of humor back!
Heading to Weight Watchers, now just WW to get back on track! Hope to hit the gym for a bit, then some work, take Ian to his Dr follow up from ingrown toe repairs made last week. Kids went back to school, it was hard to get all of us up! Lucy was happy to be back in the carpool
Wishing everyone a great day! Thoughts and prayers to those in need.

Good Morning!
Cold 16 degrees....
I took all the Christmas decorations down this morning. Larry is still sleeping, he was up all night. Waiting for the boxes to be put away. I can get them down empty, need help putting away heavy. I'll wait till tomorrow to shampoo living room carpet. I always do it after Christmas time, habit I have. Hoping for a sunny day to clean windows too.
Ingrid, the plans for your Mother's resting place sound lovely.
I like having a place to go to. Our family knows we do not want to be thrown to the winds. We need to make plans........... la la la la la.

Have nice day ALL~
