I'm really looking forward to this trip, once I book it and know where we are staying. So far we have Karen, Tara, Dan,Judi, Sue and myself from the Swamp going. April to me is always the best weather! Beautiful sunny skies and hardly no rain in the forecast. I was thinking, do we want to do a beach bar crawl one day, or a "Judi take us to a bar" drive? What do you guys think? Sue and I would be up for anything! :D

I'm flexible; I'm up for anything except the day before I fly home  Tara, are there any places you want to go/do; you'll have more time to venture further this time around.

Yes and Yes
George would be up for the crawl, not the road trip.

Maybe we could do that on Palm Beach, it's been years  since I've been up that way except for a specific event. I could work on a route and then we'd only have to decide which end and what time to start?

Sounds good to me! How many bars do we hit? Want dinner after?

Just my opinion, but it might be better to meet and start with a 'hearty lunch' ; then 'mom' knows everyone has eaten  Think I've heard more than once, "no I was't hungry, didn't eat", you know who you are.... then if the mood and the ability hits we can eat again. Or everyone could PROMISE to eat first

I'm like Ronnie... whatever you want. I don't have any place in particular in mind.

On the 28th. I will try to find you Mary.
PM me your room number when you have time, before I come in on the 27th.

I think karen is smart ( hate to admit that ) ...I will chow down with Ronnie before the event
Judi is the driver, I leave it up to her as far as where we stomp.

BP you're mixing things up; this one is the Palm Beach crawl, the one you are bringing Georgene to. The Local Bar Hop is a different event, different thread, not yet started

Ok, I'll work on the Palm Beach route 'this winter' focusing on Beach Bars and HH's within staggering distance of each other; we can pick and choose as the mood hits. Once Ronnie and Sue have their dates we'll pick a day and a starting location that serves lunch for those wishing to eat. We won't make any reservations for supper, not knowing who will be still standing  , we'll leave our options open...

Mary/Tom looks like you'll miss this event as it will probably take place between April 1 and 4.

Judi, Dick, Ann, swampers yet to book their trip....Everyone Welcome!!!

My sister is here until April 4 and as many of you know....I love her and follow her agenda while she is here  Though she did like the beach bar crawl we did with Monkeys many years ago! I will make a point to see the March/April crowd even if for a short time! Enjoy!

I agree with you Karen. We can all get together for a nice lunch and then start the beach crawl. Want to have fun and not be sleeping by 5 o clock.
