Good morning everyone.

Ingrid....I hope your mother is comfortable and not in too much pain. (((((hugs))))
Ronnie......$$$$$$$
BP......stop touching the patch....I know you just touched it, didn't you?
Bob....good luck today.

We went to the cemetery yesterday. Our stone was delivered. It's weird to see our names engraved on it........my kids are still freaking out about it. They will appreciate the fact, that they will not have to worry about that when something happens to one of us.

Enjoy your day!!

MaryLou, I still laugh out loud when I remember the story of my parents going to the cemetery to see their stone. Dad told the funeral director that he would drive in the cemetery first, cause next time he would be following him. They got up to the top of the hill, walked slowly to the grave and my Mom went ballistic. She spied the grave stone who would be their neighbor. Name? Roach. She was yelling at Dad about living with roaches, now she will have to be dead with Roaches!! They sure had weird senses of humor!

You were not alone, my friend. I really enjoy a good funeral, and all of the pomp and circumstance that comes along with our Military. It did bring me way back to President Kennedy's funeral. And yes, I got weepy.

Hi everyone,

Late check-in today, been a busy day at work. I've been watching and listening to President Bush's funeral at my desk. What wonderful tributes from his friends, his son and the priest. I had my earbuds in and was laughing and crying along with the rest of you. I just love his old friends. I wanted to hug them when they were crying. I also love watching the military pomp and circumstance. It's so impressive. I have a picture of my husband in his Army dress uniform when he was stationed in Washington, DC at his sister's wedding when he was about 22 and he looks so handsome.

Ingrid, I hope you have a nice visit with your mom. ((hugs))

And Karen, I hope your shopping isn't too long today! Hugs to you too!

ML I'm sure you know you're doing your kids such a favor by getting that out of the way. Hope you don't have Roaches near you.

Enjoy your day everyone.

We took time to watch from Vegas. It's important. A true American Hero!
