Cheers. In with iced cinnamon spiced tea.

Just put boneless/skinless chicken thighs in oven. Dinner will be the chicken with sauteed swiss chard and an honey crisp apple for dessert.

Chicken thighs here also...marinated in Greek dressing. Rice and salad. Likely in with white...but maybe red

We had a wicked awesome rib eye steak with grilled onions and carrots. We are 99% ready for Hurricane Michael. After taking in all the outside plants and chairs, we had Wine O'clock. DH does red and I do Pinot Grigio. We will have baby Jackson tomorrow as both the kids have to work. Sure hope there are no issues that make us head into the closet. (I cannot say the word Tornad*) (and I hate the word rotation)
Life is good. It surely is.

Grilled us some burgers, and made peppers & onions to top. Salad on the side. Ginger ale all tonight!

Uggh Linda - good luck with that. I had something that was much easier to do last time, but it took the whole day before which is not good if you work.

I'm having some red wine (called Brownstone - pretty good) and we had left over roast beef with mashed taters.

We went to lunch with friends. Hubby had a chicken caesar salad. I had a half of a turkey wrap.
My friend brought his father to lunch. He will be 96 in December....and he's still sharp as a tack. He loves talking about the time he served in the war. After lunch, he wanted a vanilla milk shake. We took him to Cupcake Charlie's.....I enjoyed watching him savor his milkshake. :D

MaryLou, there is nothing better than spending time with an old person who still has his mind and can tell stories.

I agree!

We went out. I had a burger (no bun) with provolone and portobello mushrooms and red wine. Mike had the steak tips and beer. Stay safe Marianne. How about our Georgia monkeys - any in the path of Michael?

Grilled burgers with JWB and Nancy had pinot grigio. Frozen yogurt for dessert.
Marylou, that sounds awesome. World war ll conversation? Must have been educational.
Good luck tomorrow Linda.

I drove to the neighborhood bar since my bike is still in the shop getting a tune-up. Currently watching the Sox beat the Yankees.. hopefully :)

I completely agree on visiting with older people..so much living history! I so wish my parents had not died so young.
