We both made it up Dunn’s River Falls :D Both of us came out with some nicks, scapes, bruises & bumps, but we made it :D They advice no cameras unless water proof so that was out of the question. We did buy a pic of one coming out, will try to post later, by the pool catching up  Sunny, hot 87!

Glad you both survived relatively unscathed :D I have heard that is a tough, slippery climb.
Look forward to the pic.
You deserve a Red Stripe now

We did Dunns River Falls in 1986. There was a woman (or a man dressed as a woman) with the biggest butt we've ever seen sitting on a donkey at the top of the Falls. Wonder if she/he is still there?

That was probably a good choice. I’ll have to Google it.

The crazy thing I saw was adults were bringing their children up it
I saw this one little boy about 10 I’m guessing get hurt and had to have the guide carry him to the top, what the hell are these people thinking  You only held hands for like the first climb then you were basically on your own. The guides did help you in tough spots.

Was the market still at the top? This was one of our tough spots being haggled. Do they play Raggae/Island music around the pool? Have you been offered ganga? How did the airport arrival/private lounge/pick up go? Easy to navigate?

I really didn’t notice a market when you got to the top? But yes, getting back to the bus was a pia going through the vendors, some downright disrespectful. They have exit markers with white arrows to get to the buses, our bus diver informed us NOT to follow the blue arrows that says exit, that’s done by the vendors to get you into their little village. Found out by someone that the videos they take while you do the climb will not work back in the states so didn’t bother buying that for $40. They mix up the music around the swim up bar, not all reggae. Yes have been offered Ganga many times, even by a hotel worker. I’ll do a trip report when I get home on my experience and opinions.

The village is I guess what I meant, my memory has faded. I was wondering if your hotel guy would get you through that.

No the hotel guide is not allowed in,he did warn us, told us to say, “ME NO WANT IT!” A lot of good that did  One guy wanted the beer I bought when we were done climbing, almost got into a altercation
