Having a glass of cabernet watching the storm coverage on the news. Possible tornado touchdown in New Canaan just now and a wicked thunderstorm right over my ride home. I just missed it all.

We'll have turkey meatballs and homemade sauce over some type of pasta.

opened my computer today and got the failed to initialize screen then bad hard drive message  told my boss maybe i'll take it to staples, he said you're smarter than all of them. spent the entire day trying to recover it and finally got it back around 2:30 :D backing up all my files as im pretty sure it will crash again. going to order a external SSD.

we had broiled tilapia, corn and rice. should be drinking wine but i'll stick with gatorade.

Great job Linda...and yes, a very nice compliment! I am having swordfish (and will think of you Ronnie  ), the last of the local corn on the cob (according to the gal at the farm store) and local tomatoes (she said they have plenty!) In with red! cheers :D

Had red wine along with burgers on the grill (a little too rare), home made potato salad and baked beans.

Yeah, good job, Linda.

Mike and I met TJ at our 1/2 way point tonight at Ruby Tuesdays (his choice). We all had the salad bar. TJ had a chicken/pasta/alfredo (he took most of it home for the midnight snack after eating 2 plates from the salad bar). Mike and I shared the $3 add-on for 3 sides (green beans, fries, onion rings.... yeah yeah, but we had salads!).

Picked up a chicken cordon bleu sandwich (they gave me 2!!) and 10 pizza sliders at Arby's on the way home from work. This is now my #1 fav Arby's sandwich! Started HH (during NCIS) with a bloody Caesar now having Lites. The sliders are bagged up in the beer fridge freezer for future late-night Trizzin'

Linda, great job! I don't have any SSD externals, but I do have Western Digital external HD's. I keep a 2Tb on this computer backing up my HD every 30 minutes. My older 1Tb and 0.5Tb WD drives double and triple save some of the more important things. The 1Tb stays in a fireproof box inside the safe. Currently the 0.5 is backing up Elaine's desktop, which doesn't have a lot on it. They all go in the box in the safe when we are gone overnight. I actually keep a 4th copy of my photos on my smaller "travel" laptop.
