Hi all, happy Monday. :? Wow the weekend sure flew by. Great day on the water yesterday. We brought home a few dinners' worth of fish. Also jumped in and swam a bunch of times. We had a great day.

Laura, I'm trying my own plumbing too. I'm renovating our master bathroom and decided to try to change the two faucets myself. Removing the first faucet, i have everything taken apart, but can't get the last plastic faucet nut off underneath the faucet. All 4 tabs have cracked off trying to remove it. I may have to drill some holes in it to crack it off. I guess that's my last resort! I may call a plumbing supply co first to see if there's anything else I can do.

SOX SPANKED THE YANKS!!!

Have a great day and stay cool.

Good morning! We're having a little rain shower...makes for a nice, lazy morning.

Karen, I hope you enjoy your visit. It does sound like an interesting day. I'm sure it will be great to see everyone again and get caught up.

Beachgirl, I replaced the kitchen sink faucet about a month ago and had the same difficulty. I finally got it loose and off after about an hour of screwing with it. Putting the new one in was quick and easy.

Go Sox!

Good morning all, super busy weekend!
Worked on a large batch of peach jam, I think it was too big as it took too long to come to the boil & didn't have time to cook as long as I wanted so will have to break into batches & cook some more.
Went to volunteer with the Rotary lemonade stand for our shift 4-6pm, it started to storm about 1/2 after I got there & the streets were starting to flood, we closed the stand & went home. Luckily someone was able to give me a ride to my car as I had parked about 1/2 mile figuring it would be a nice walk to & back.

In work all day, mums for lunch.
Have a great day all :D

Good morning! Another very hot day. Doesn’t help the poison ivy I somehow got last week. I wish there was some miracle cream that would make it go away instantly. Getting together with my niece and sister in law for dinner tonight. Stay cool and enjoy your day my friends.

Good~Morning!
Lots of sun today with a high of 85!
Jim is taking his Mom home this morning from the home where she had rehab. He is staying over her place for 2 nights to make her feel comfortable and to see if she can live alone, I think she is afraid of falling again..... his brother is suppose to stay Wednesday and Thursday.....yeah right!!! We'll see IF that happens.
Have a great Monday everyone!

Just embroidered a towel for Kailey for rest time, about to head to store for groceries, then Bella's school for lunch to bring cookies and Japanese tonight for dinner. Her pool party yesterday was a success thunder hit at 5pm and party was until 5 everyone scrambled after lightening hit close.

Good morning!

Hazy, hot, humid here today. Working on a few things inside this morning and will float in the pool this afternoon.

Dars, can you get a home health aide for Jim's mom to help with the transition? I'm not sure if it's different down there, but with hospital stays and rehab stays here, patients have a patient advocate that they or family members can speak with to help with the transition from step to step after an injury or illness. Best wishes to your MIL with her recovery. And fingers crossed that your BIL steps up like he should.

Ardy, I can't picture you as a "mean Gramma". At all.

Enjoy your day, friends.

Thanks Linda.....we are looking into many options right now. I'm not holding my breath for his brothers help...Jim said he's been that way all his life...so it's no shock to him. It is pissing me off more than Jim......and I just have to bite my tongue to keep peace.
KARMA!!!

Tara, it would have been such an easy job (not counting stuffing myself in the cabinet!) if it weren't for this stinking piece of plastic! I researched it more at lunchtime and I think I'll try drilling it. 3/8" drill bit on both sides, supposed to crack off in pieces. Cross your fingers for me.
