Good morning all :D
Had a great market day yesterday, sold out of lots of types :D
When we got home I baked English shortbread, a double batch of strawberry rhubarb oatbars (used the last of the jam I made with our own rhubarb), & a test batch of oatmeal, honey, almond using honey from another market vendor, they were tasty :)

Heading out for a run in a little while, then make ginger peach jam for our oatbars ( I am going to rotate the jam in these based on what is in season for me to make the jam).
Later I will be volunteering at the rotary lemonade stand for a couple hours, there is an annual folk festival, arts, crafts, food, etc.

Then another week, poof!!

BP, i bought bacon, an heirloom tomato, lettuce, & a wheat loaf at the market yesterday & will be making BLT for dinner tonight :)

Win big Ann  :D

Have a great Sunday all

Good morning all! Going to be a beautiful day, hot but less humid. Need to do a few things outside and then enjoy the rest of the day.

Good morning! Just another Sunday--biking to the bar to meet up with my other Trek bike buddy and a girlfriend. Then I have no plans. I have stuff I should be doing in the house but I can't stand to waste the nice weather days indoors.

Morning all...another hot one today with litte rain in sight.
Love me those BLT's Pam

as a side note...I cleaned for a new customer 2 weeks ago, and after the cleaning ( the husband ) said...He and his wife had over the years several different carpet cleaners, and not one did the kinda job I did :) ....This same customer called me last week to put a bid on cleaning his Church...He called yesterday and said I had the job, all so told me they didn't get any other bids...He told the church board that, they couldn't compare apples to apples. 8)

morning, well yesterday it was 15 years since my mom left us. normally its a cry fest but having my nephew stay overnight and my sister come to go crabbing made it a happy day with lots of laughs. my mom would have loved it.

I did go to the summer concert, guys were ok, crowd seemed to enjoy, i may be more critical. halfway through they announced that a guy from the Knockouts, another oldies group, happened to be there and they brought him up to sing. what song did they do, Darling Lorraine (my moms name) well that was it, I lost it. So i guess i was meant to be there, here's some of the lyrics and I always "knew" the song but yesterday it hit me like a ton a bricks. I'll take it as a sign and know she's still with me. Have a great day all

You are an angel, angel divine
You're sent from heaven
You're really mine
Oh darling, oh darling
Oh my darling Lorraine

Please never leave me
Please never go
I love you darling
I'd miss you so

You're my inspiration
My dreams come true
If you ever leave me darling Lorraine
Oh what will I do

Good morning. Off to do some shopping. Thank God for central air as the heat index is already 90. Can't imagine what it's going to feel like once the temp hits the high of 90. The HI could hit upwards of 100.

Enjoy your day everyone.

Yes, Hugs to Linda.

Good Morning all. Home from church and the store. Just browned a couple pounds of beef and made taco meat for TJ to take back to his apt. tomorrow. He's coming home today to be at Matthew's going away lunch w/ the family at Grandma's. Low Country Boil (crab legs, shrimp, potatoes, sausage, corn on the cob goes in the pot w/ seasoning).

I'm sure we'll take a boat ride later today. Hopefully, the rain is done for a while. We had a crazy harsh storm early this morning, so I've been awake since about 4am.
